  1. So, I saw on this page https://bit.ly/2HoiEQI that a 1987 to 2004 Dodge Dakota bumper will fit on a Comanche. Does anyone have any experience with this? There are lots of these at the pick n pull.
  2. My first car was a 52 Belair. That could be it.
  3. I have to go change my shirt, this one has drool on it.

    mj-curious?

Not what I thought it meant.
  5. If it was a shortbed, that bedliner would be nice.
  6. Check out this one: http://comancheclub.com/topic/52819-phoenix-project/
  7. You fulfilled this as soon at you bought the 87.
  8. Duct tape? That makes me not want to live on this planet anymore That and a few hundred dozen other things. I used to work in the planning department of a company that made wiring harnesses back in the 80's. I'm going to board the wiring up and go through it. As soon as I finish this kitchen remodel. The truck had a lot of electrical issues before this.
  9. I think I need to go down the same road and do a major rewiring in my truck. I was out wheeling this weekend and shelled out a motor mount. The motor shifted and pinched the wires on the alternator. I started to dig into it and found it had been rewired before. They had used duct tape on the splices. Wiring was fried from the alternator to the cab. How did this go for you?
  10. I'm dealing with the same thing now. Thanks for following up on this. I am going to drop the tank and I just ordered a new lock-ring/o-ring kit. I am tired of messing with this. I tried to use some fuel resistant sealer to fix it. It was better but no cigar. This is an improvement.
  11. My best road trip ever was flying down to Phoenix, picking up my 89 Comanche and driving it back with my wife and daughter in the cab. It was an adventure. I did have a mechanic check it out before I bought it. The picture in my signature is as we were leaving Death Valley. We put over 1300 miles on it.
  12. If there is unibody damage it would be hard to pull one at a junk yard unless they let you take a torch in. If they let you, just cut past what you need and take it home to work on it. I hit a deer with a car and had to go that route and weld it in.

    good morning, ya,all

If you took a frog hair and split it eight ways, I'd still be finer.
