Anybody ever see something like this?

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking it's from the 70's. It's got 3 speeds for each person, and has front drum brakes. It also appears to have had signal lights at some point in time. I haven't had any luck finding any pictures to show what they should look like.

Now that you know how rare it is it has to be restored and can not be modified.

So where did you find this odd ball? Get it "cheap" cause none knew what I was or did you have to pay up for it?

Would be interesting to have a stock one to go off of, and then build a custom version.

I hadn't realized there was so many replies to this post, lol. Since a lot of parts were missing, some modifications have happened, although most are bolt on modifications.

There's an outfit in Wasagaming, where I used to live, that rented out similar four-wheel bikes. Tourists loved them, but they were a pain in the @$$ in traffic. Imagine a bike that's as big as a car so can't run anywhere other than the road and you need a full lane to get around it, operated by the typical cyclist by which I mean completely ignoring traffic rules, blowing through stop signs, etc. If the speed limit wasn't 30km/h I imagine there would't be many of them left to rent out...
