Jeep Comanche Die-Casts????

Ive searched for sometime now and have yet 2 see even a picture of 1.

 

Does anyone have or have even ever seen a Jeep Comanche Hot Wheels or Matchbox vehicle???....id love 2 get 1 for my Dash Board but have had no luck. Just figured this would be a good place 2 ask.....thanx 8)

Keep dreamin'! :D About the best we can hope for is finding a 4 door XJ matchbox (which do exist) and cutting it up to fab a fake MJ.

It's so morphed that it's hard to tell, but I doubt it's an MJ. Although I would never have believed that anyone had ever made an R/C body MJ and I've seen a couple of those on the internet (not for sale though).

that stomper is a jtruck. i have a red one on my comanches dash untill i can find a comanche toy. which they are out there. i use to have a pic of one. ill see if i can find it again.

yea a mj toy for the dash would be cool. found that mj r/c. and man is it sweet. so detailed.

they don't make the bodies anymore. I have one i bought off ebay a couple years ago. the previous owner cut the bumpers and flares off.

 

the only other rc body that i have seen was brand new and it went for over fifty dollars.

they made just the clear bodies.

 

the chassis and drivetrain of the one posted earlier is from a tamiya bruiser. they originally came with a toyota hilux body or chevy blazer. if you find a running chassis on ebay they go for around 1K bucks.

Try to convince Bolink(are they still around?), Pro-Line, or Parma to make one for the T-Maxx, and I'd buy a few.

Not yet, but I got one of the 1/10 scale MJ bodies off from ebay a couple weeks ago. I just need to get it painted and buy another RC truck to put it on! :D

i have yet to see a matchbox sized comanche, i have a couple 2 doors and thats all i have seen. i do need to start buying up some of the old jeeps form ebay though. let me know if you ever find any.

It would be cooler if it actually looked like the MJ rather then a pickup version of the Commander. Looks too boxy and the hood/front look weird.

Iactually have a MB comanche that i made out of a cherokee. it's not the prettiest job, but i like it. its lifted with crawlers, i'll try to get a pic up soon.
