Merry Christmas all, and have a great 2014.

Well been hard out on the Comanche getting a bit done & TRYING to update my Thread. But every time I go to down load pictures from photo bucket it is such a head F%

It usually takes a while, but not this time it won't play the game. oh well will try again later.

In the 10 years I've been using photobucket, I can only think of two times when I was unable to upload or access my media. Maybe I've just been lucky.

Their newest phone app sucks though. It doesn't provide any organization for the pictures in albums. Maddening when you have nearly 300 pics in an album.

Same here. I don't get it why there are so many problems. They are always tinkering with the layout, but it doesn't take long to figure it out.

I agree photobucket sucks ...I have not been able to get it to cooperate on any level since I got my truck back from the painters.

Not that there is really anything new to show you guys...but frustrating none-the-less.

Just tried again, I can copy on the IMG/URL on photo bucket but when I go back to Comanche Club and hit paste NOTHING get transferred.

I now I'm a dumb F*&^ when I comes to these things & always had trouble with photo bucket but we always get there in the end.

I send pics from Photo Bucket to every site but,  CC won't load em.  No matter how I try all I get is a blue field.

I have been using photobucket for as long as I can remember and I have never had any trouble with it. I only use my PC, though. I uploaded 2 just now as a test and it is as smooth as ever.

I don't know about this case but in many cases it is the device settings, not the website.

point well taken...My laptop has all the signs of demonic possession. Certain it is at least a factor if not the cause.

I did however try my desktop at work recently and had no luck with that either ( I have posted from photobucket to CC at work previously).

Oddly enough the photobucket website format is different from using home laptop vs work desktop. I know I'm no brain surgeon but that seems a little weird to me.

I knew at some point that I would get to an age that all this captain billy whizbang electronic tomfoolery would become less intuitive, and that I would have subsequently, a lessening amount of patience to deal with properly it in the process (and that perhaps that is all the problem actually is).....but really, are I there yet?

I've had the same issues too. It doesn't work very well using IE but works better on chrome.... still has been slower than in the past though. Why can't they just keep stuff simple?

I haven't had much problems except it is VERY SLOW!  I click on the img box about 10 times until it highlights the box yellow and copies the link code.  The stupid ads slow the website down considerably.  I would love to use Picasa, but as far as I know I can't get the img codes.  I have searched online and my picasa doesn't work like what's online.

Picasa doesn't have any ads (yet) but it won't work for me so far.

I've never had an issue with it and I've been using it for longer than I can remember. I mean, not meaning to come across as rude, but what's so hard about copying links and pasting to where you're trying to stick them?

If you are using IE, you've got more issues than just Photobucket. If you're trying to up date a build thread or something from a phone, well there you've got issues too. I'd also stay away from trying to manage things on a netbook since they are slower than an old G3 PowerBook I have. Stick to the good 'ol fashioned PC using Chrome or Firefox and I just can't imagine any issues since it's seriously as simple as copy/paste. If you absolutely have to use your phone/tablet, then use Chrome or Firefox, and I'd recommend installing Flash if you're on Android since Firefox will take advantage of that still even under 4.3+.

I run adblock plus so I don't get the ad issue that is potentially causing slowdowns for others, I also have blazing fast internet so not sure I'd notice anyways.

People still use IE?  :peek: All kidding aside I have found that, for me at least, Chrome blows IE out of the water and also works more smoothly than Firefox.
