MrSimon
I'm thinking about buying this truck. Here are the pics I've received so far. The owner says its an 86. Is there any way to confirm that from these pics? I was really hoping for an 87 or newer.
shelbyluvv
It is at least an 87. There was no 4.0 or short bed in 86.
neohic
I like this game... I'm going to say it's a '90. Still a RENIX, but it doesn't have the c101 connection on the firewall. :crossfingers:

MrSimon
Thanks guys! You rock. I'm going to look at it tomorrow afternoon. I'll post up the results tomorrow evening.
gogmorgo
The only way to know for sure is to check the vin. The door sticker could tell you build date, although they're often illegible and its possible the door got swapped at some point. Emissions stickers will give you model year. While it takes the fun out of the game, you should probably ask for the vin. Check digit 10. G=1986, H=1987, J=1988, K=1989, L=1990, M=1991, N=1992. MrSimon
Thanks for the VIN codes ... that is helpful and I'll definitely check it. But as long as its not an 86, I'm happy.

MrSimon
Nobody asked so I will....How Much $$$ More than its worth probobly ... but then again, its a Comanche  But I was able to confirm via the title that it is indeed a 1990. You guys are GOOOOOD!
RochesterMJ
You should post up some details and asking price. Members here can confirm if its in range or not. My 2 cents: If the owner doesn't even know what year it is...then you should be paying less than its worth.
