Pete M
street view still has that minivan in the driveway we owned back in like 05. :dunno: but the overhead is more recent. :D
dfreeman616
overhead of my house only shows my current dd, which is a 99 xj. street view must have just been updated, too, because it also shows the xj. although my parents house shows my 87 mj that was parked there for a while, and my old work also shows that same truck parked there when i was driving it. SW86
i don't agree with any of those things. i don't want someone or company taking pictures of my property. no privacy anymore. kind of like the goverment using drones to spy on americans. technology will be the death of us all... Although I love me some Google and technology, I can totally agree. People give away too much info by themselves, let alone this kind of stuff. It's one of the reasons I got off of Facebook. mpace6a
you'll notice i didnt simply provide a link with my address  Doesnt matter....you can backwards search the picture. Actually its possible to do with any picture, just search the actual picture and usually find out anything you want to know about the content of the picture. Also, along with the actual picture, in the file are details about when the picture was taken, with what, whether or not it was in an editing program, etc. Google, or maybe bing, was having "competitions" online, posting a random picture of a random location, and seeing if people could find where the picture was taken using their search engine. Also, i believe google was sued a while back for invasion of privacy by street view.

RubberDuck
They didn't get the 'manche, but the got me riding a bike to work one day, i'm actually saluting the camera, not anything that they would have to blur out..
terrawombat
They are obligated to blur out all pictures of people's faces since no one actually consented to having their picture taken.

terrawombat
I guess they had a difficult time getting houses, trees, and automobiles to sign the consent forms...
AMCJeepMJ
When Google Streetview came by my neighborhood they got not only my Comanche, but me loading up yard debris in by the side of the house for free yard debris day at the local landfill. I can tell you exactly what day it was they came by in 2012.
buffalob
Mine has no comanches in the photo at all (so it makes no sense to include it) and only Nathan's 99XJ before it was lifted. It must have been when Bucky was my DD and before I purchased the red 87'
SW86
I guess they had a difficult time getting houses, trees, and automobiles to sign the consent forms... funny stuff.. but i own said house/vehicles etc etc, i never gave anyone to permission to use said images. it doesnt matter though :offtopic: :bs:
terrawombat
Then maybe you can have them blur our your house, trees and automobiles: http://www.google.com/maps/about/behind-the-scenes/streetview/privacy/
