Wrangler Hood, grill And Fenders On Mj ???

Recommended Posts

Ok so i know anything is possible. i would like to know if anyone has done this or has done any research on this.

I plan on putting a wrangler front clip on a MJ.

YJ,TJ or JK.

i think the width of the JK would work better.

i only plan on putting on hood grill and fenders.

my questions is how wide is the rear area of each hood.

and how wide is the front of each hood.

My guesses would be the yj/tj are much more narrow in the front and back then the MJ.

but i would assume the JK is close to the width in the back but more narrow in the front. i know some body work would be needed.

but i am looking for the least amount.

any advice and thoughts?

so i am on a ship right now and the internet sucks.

i was able to find this

this guy took a CJ grill and made it fit on xj fenders and hood.

i was thinking more hood and grill. possibly fenders or just custom fenders.

that is all i can find

i am not a big fan of the CJ grill.

but i think the TJ photos just need some body work some fenders and a grill and will look better.

i think a JK being a little wider may work better.

the scrambler would be close to end result.

really just trying to be different. tire clearance is just an extra bonus.

thanks for the info on the JK being to wide.

looking at how the tj is short by a few inches on each side in the rear. i think a jk hood still might work. the front of the grill and the front of the hood just can't be to wide. i know the bumper on a JK is wider then the grill and hood. so there still is a chance.

but a TJ looks to be the route.

@jeepcpoMJ i do not plan on modifying the front clip/"frame" just in case it doesnt work.

i get back from my deployment in dec. i will probably start acquiring all the parts then, i will post pics.
