He has a longbed 35s Beadlocks and a 3 link and he's automatic with 3.55s, I'm a shortbed on 33s radius arms and stick with 3.07s lol we basically go the same places, although he gets hungup underneath sometimes because of the wheelbase. And for the tires I LOVE them, I'm getting them in 37/12.5/16.5 here http://www.militaryoffroadtires.net/product-p/t-37125165dw.htm

He must be choosing the wrong routes cause I'm long bed on 33s and also stuck with 3.07s but i rarely get hung up under neath... weird. and the link doesnt work :P but my front tires are almost bald and they still rip up the trail! love em too.

The link works for me? A lot of the Local wheeling we do around here is all small dirt hills with barely any rocks but theyre kind of steep so the bed catches or just under the gastank touches. The tires aren't so great in sand as they just dig in and you sink, most of this island is made up of sand too haha but for rocks they work awesome!

nvm it works. looks sweet! you have 16.5 inch rims? mine are 15s. oh yeah haha i definetly hit my bed on stuff but I'm fairly carefull. a lot of ditches to go thourgh where people try and keep you out. bumpers on the back work good for that, just drag it haha. oh yeah no sand here just hard dirt rocks and mud :P lots of rocks!

My Lincoln 125 stinks, it will not lay a weld like that. The welds fills up with flux resulting in porous welds. What wire and settings do you use?

Also, hope you and the MJ survived the storm.

thanks for kind words! Both of us are safe! Ive been putting her to work with loads of cut up trees and pulling logs. As for some of my friends, I cannot say the same. Some lost their houses and there's nothing left of them. Cherokee_chief has a 45' boat in his neighbors swimming pool!!! As for the welds I'm using .30 flux wire and had the little Lincoln on a 1.5 wire peed and cranked the heat to E which is the highest setting

Picked up a 3/4 ton 44 today for $100 bucks!!!! Came with everything except calipers, I've been reading on pirate4x4 that you can put JK 44 gears in them and they have a 8.9" ring gear which is the same size as a dana60 ring gear! I think 5.13s and 37/38s will work well for my driving style.

As for the 45' boat pic I'll see if my friend can send one to me.

Thanks man! Get to work and join the awesome MJ club! Hahah Unfortunately it wouldn't buff out and that shell is already crushed and probably on a boat to china lol

-In other news ordered the ballistic XJ/TJ coil perches

- Bought a new Strange Spool and 4.88s for the 44 for $250 Couldn't pass up the price!

-Picked up a set of aluminum 8lug 16.5 wheels that I'll run until I have money for a new/newish set of steelies and beadlocks

check your polarity of the welder. running flux core wire is different then solid wire. should be straight plarity
