So what's the best way to clear off the oxidation and make it all nice and shiny

Mr. Clean magic eraser, water, and some elbow grease. Probably some polishing compound afterward for good measure.

Why are you all using bedliner for the lights? Why not use paint for plastic?

That was one of the first things I did to mine when I got it, way back when.

 

I like this rear bumper, just needs a 2" reciever. Was this custom built?

 

Plan to do my tails also. Just wondering..... has anyone done it in reverse??? Instead of trim painted black leave it red and tint the lens?

Yeah, I built that rear bumper a long time ago. It was the first bumper I ever built, it was stupid simple.

...guess I'll add my take on the subject....went with the old military idea of obscuring part of the light (but only enough to get that impression, not enough to really block the light)....masked and shot camo with the rest of the body....

 

 

 

same with the front lights....

i really like that camo paint and lights!!!! i think I'm gonna box mine in and get some oval leds and put in it tho
