MJ is dead Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Now we all know there isnt a lot of options when it comes to different tails for your mj, but while walking by the backend the other day an idea occurred to me. Why not paint the lines that separate the different sections? So I set off to wally-world and bought a couple cans of Satin black fusion, some ammonia, and snagged the local advertisement paper. First things first. Mask off your light Clean it up with the ammonia and put a VERY light first coat on Put two more coats on, allowing 5-10 minutes between coats Peel off that tape, and repeat the process for the other side Admire that sexy MJ butt!! -Travis
dasbulliwagen Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 I think some of them came from the factory like that in 86! Cool though. Wonder if the chrome paint would look just as good? Might have to trry it!
MJ is dead Posted April 21, 2010 Author Posted April 21, 2010 Chrome is a bad scene. Hornbrod loves chrome and look how he turned out :rotfl2:

comanche12 Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 i didnt think about that haha i will do it when i get replace one :) but don't it be a easy for u if u just remove taillight off without need use newpapers? just a 2 cent
MJ is dead Posted May 17, 2010 Author Posted May 17, 2010 It probably would have, but I'm lazy like that. And you might have had to mask off the inside of the light. I was painting several things the day I did this, so I didn't want to take anything off
comanche12 Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 alright thats true but i would just smoke whole the taillight like 40% tint
MJ is dead Posted May 18, 2010 Author Posted May 18, 2010 To each their own, but that's illegal in some states
comanche12 Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 Smoked tailights are ghey. how come? i don't think they r ghey. i mean tints them not smoke them.
