Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow...

I have been purposely NOT driving my MJ for fear of getting any road salt on my rust free baby!

:(

My new (31k mile) 'Grandpa Jeep' has been covered in salt since I bought it (starting with it's initial hour long ride home, in a snow storm).

I've hand washed it twice in my driveway,

not fun in 20-25* weather :ack: (had to hook the hose up to my hot water heater to clear the ice out).

Then each day after the bath, covered again.

The worst is when the plow truck passes you, and sandblasts salt over the whole side of your truck. :headpop:

I DID NOT plan to daily drive this poor thing when I bought it. :ack: :ack:

please paint your shovel for me

LMAO- I know... I was busy last year spending $$$$ and getting my "mid-life crisis" CJ-7 done after working on it for 12 years, the blade was neglected.

Plan on getting the blade sandblasted and painted. Maybe people will feel sorry for me and hire me to do their driveways. ;)

We ended up with about 8-9" of snow/sleet here, plus about an inch of rain last night in the middle of the whole damn show.....our local club has spent the last two days playing taxi for med staff into and home from the local hospital. Couple shots from today, the MJ never made it out because I was chauffering multiple staff and their belongins. Gonna be back out @ 0600 tomorrow for shift change.

Talked to mom at home tonight (Johnstown, PA) and they got 25" :fs1:

My mother is a retired teacher from United School district, and we have a family farm (80+ acres) up in Armagh.
