well, since it's in PHP just whack the database and restore it with the latest backup. Might lose a few posts, $#!& happens.

This really seems like it was just some kiddy running a script and happened to find a vulnerable install.

It's probably one config file the kid got into or one config screen. If you want help undoing this Pete let me know. No reason to do a DB restore since the changes are largely cosmetic.

I got help from our website hosting company and we're back to normal. Next step is to update the site and for me to get some tutoring on how to run this stuff better.
