So far, its been agreed that the MJOTM will be decided by the mods, to keep things fair, and to minimize bickering. But since its been so long since this was brought up, it would be nice to see what everyone would like to see as far as info goes. This is that I was thinking... Stickied, but locked or unlocked? :dunno: Any MJ is elligible Pics (of course) Stats: Year, Make, Model of MJ Engine Trans Transfer case Axles Wheels/Tires Suspension Length owned Best MJ story What owner loves best about CC... ;) Now, this is all open to discussion, and any criticism. I don't know whether to lock or unlock, so neg comments and or bashing can be stopped, but I don't want to keep the well-wishers and atta-boys out either. So I am tossing it to you guys... 89eliminator Posted October 20, 2009 Share Posted October 20, 2009 i like the way NAXJA does it. thread is started by a mod, then the first X amount (5 at NAXJA) rigs entered are the ones to be voted on for that month. voting lasts however long you want, and obviously the winner is chosen at the end. winners can't enter for 12 months either. usually 2 pics, one poser, one action. rob, i like the added best MJ story and what the owners like about CC line too. :thumbsup: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So nominate the car you feel deserves thisrecognition. I would ask, however, that you nominate vehicles from within our walls. (no Batmobile nominations or that kinda thing) Lets support the people who are here with awesome rides! Please post specifics with the car you are nominating- if they are known. Posting of its Mods are preferred but not mandatory- Try to include year, make, trim line and etc... Also submit ONE photo in your posted nomination. Only the nominator may change the submitted photo. We will start voting on the 24th and voting will end on the 31st. You may only submit someone else's ride & not your own. Only one submission per person. If there are 15 or more submissions then a one day vote will be held to cull the list down to the top 10. If that happens then the cull voting will start on the 24th & the voting on the top 10 will begin the 25th. Then that vote will end on the 1st. In the event of a tie, there will be a 2 day tie breaker vote. In the event that it is still a tie after the tie breaker, the car nominated first will be declared the winner. Pete M Posted October 20, 2009 Share Posted October 20, 2009 I prefer a non-competitive MJofM. no voting, no contest, no stacking the deck or stuffing the ballot. Simply once a month an MJ is chosen and its backstory and details are highlighted. It'll probably be a sticky in the Pub and prior months will be moved to a gathering spot (not sure where yet). any truck could be chosen, the only requirement is some decent photos (gotta have something to look at afterall). I think it is one of the best trail rigs on the site. If this does come to be. I would like to see it mixed up every month or so. I would hope to include MJ's at all levels, but maybe going in a rotation of wheeler, driver, project.... etc.. Would keep our choices short, and give everyone an equal shot. Maybe we could start with a mod's truck (not mine) just to lay out the format, and have an idea for what everyone is looking for...
