I'm working on my undergraduate Mechanical Engineering degree.

This semester I am taking:

Heat and mass transfer

Engineering Design III

Materials Science

Machine Design.

Next year onto senior design, personally I want to be on the plug in hybrid project.

I was. not currently.

Spanish major, 2.5years left of school (only because I can only take one required class per semester) so I'm trying to figure out a minor. criminal justice perhaps? I would like to apply my language skills to helping control (and eliminate) illegal immigration. I am sick of our tax dollars being wasted on those who ignore the system.

but, I'm looking at going to school in a couple years again once I've made some money (in this economy, with as steady of a job as I have, I cannot afford to quit), paid off all of my bills. that way I can concentrate only on school and swim team (I have 6 more eligible semesters) and not work during the school year (BIG issues with priorities when I work and go to school...work always ends up taking number one).

I'm taking one online class at a time to finish up my bachelors, 22 years after leaving college  . Don't leave school early. It is way harder to get stuff done with a full time job, family etc etc.

17 Years and Counting for me too... Business Management Degree

University of Phoenix On-Line, One Class at a time, about 7 more to go...

STAY IN SCHOOL KIDS!!! You will wish you had...

Dude, we have to talk. That is the exact program I'm in. Just in week 4 of my first class, GEN300. They accepted 72 of my 135 credits I had accumulated over the years.

Better than I.. UofP only took 66 credits of mine, they said some started to expire after 12 years or whatever...I had over 100 in "real" college too

I'm not in a class right now, but need to start back this month (Feb).

I honestly try very little and have got all A's...and I'm not that smart... The teams are the worst part... I have had some teams that I fully believe was 100% retarted...I think the education I'm getting is "so-so" at best, and what you get for the $$$ isn't a good value...BUT... I go anyhow...

 :rotf:

I really just need that piece of paper. Had to pass on a couple nice corporate jobs after the last wave of layoffs because of no degree. If I pickup a few things here and there all the better. No way I could do brick and mortar school right now. I would never make class ( which was my biggest problem before image_209027.gif . Since I'm on east coast time I can do my crap at 2 in the morning and still be OK. Not looking forward to the team crap. Our first team, one girl quit after 3 days. One dude is a lazy useless loser, so me and the other woman are doing eveything.

At nearly 44 years old, I am thinking of going back to school since I have been unemployed now for over 3 months. I don't think the automotive field is going to be prosperous for me (or many others) any more so I am thinking of changing my whole life and going in to the medical field. I have been looking in to X-Ray Tech or Medical Billing & Coding so far. I like the billing & coding thing a little more right now as it can actually be done as a home based thing. It is about 20 months of classes to get the needed 65 credit hours and about $30,000  as far as I can tell in real school (need to look in to online)...ouch...BUT, the pay is good once certified and can be in excess of $65K with the right connections.

sarcasm? hard to tell sometimes.

Yes and no. As far as Landscape Architecture programs across the country, KSU has one of the toughest/best. I typically spend 18 hours a day in the studio working. My record is 3 nights with no sleep approaching a deadline. Makes me appreciate any time I have to work on the Jeeps or even just drive them :brows:
