I am working on finishing up a non-bachelors Masters of Landscape Architecture degree at K-State. This has got to be the hardest program in the country!

So how many times a day do you hear the word "sustainable"?

Way to many. Its everybody's "go to" word these days. 80% of the time the person doesn't have a clue what they are referring to.

I'm in my third year at Iona College. I've already finished my minor in Germans and am two classes shy of my BA in history. Unfortunetely I still have 6 or so more core classes I have to take :fs1:

At nearly 44 years old, I am thinking of going back to school since I have been unemployed now for over 3 months. I don't think the automotive field is going to be prosperous for me (or many others)

I don't like hearing that being that I am going to school to become a tech. Hopefully my AYES internship application will go through (not holding my breath for that one)and provide some small promises.

I just spent two hours on the phone with my counselor at University of Pheonix. I completed my application to the school, financial aid application, Pell Grant application etc, etc... I am looking to get my AA in Healthcare Administration. As much as I would like to stay in the automotive field, I just don't think that it's got much of a future right now. Healthcare is solid and will always be a need and with this degree it will make me marketable in a few different areas and always have options.

went and got an associates degree in aviation electronics right out of high school. Counselors told us we were going to be "in demand" because all the guys who were doing this work now for the airlines were reaching retirement age in a few years. Fast forward 8 years and look at the current state of the airline industry. :( :( However, I can solder like a son of a gun and have no trouble reading electrical schematics..... :clapping: :clapping:

I chose the Healthcare field because I felt that it was going to be the least likely to be affected by the economy and I have already learned a fair amount from my wife being in Pharmacy for around 23 years now ;) . I't always scary to think about spending $17,000 - $19,000 on something that you "hope" is going to work out for the best.
