When welding in patch panels, round all of the corners. This will help spread the heat out and prevent warping at the corners.

fun fact: if you get ahead of yourself with a fuel tank install and fire up the engine on a 2wd auto without the rear shaft installed, trans fluid will piddle out the back.  :laugh:

if you're looking at any sort of fuel tank repairs, do it ALL.  pump, sender, tank, hoses, straps, bolts, all of it.  it really isn't that much money and you'll only need to drop the tank once.  :L:  (hopefully)

When looking for TDC#1 (compression↑/↓power) remove spark plug #4. Listen for huffing, then puffing sounds while spinning the crank. Next time timing notch approaches 0° (TDC) you’re on the mark. I6 only.
