Today I replaced the leaky coolant bottle.

And I painted the grey area on my wheels with POR15.

I think I like it. :Canadaflag:

Put in new trans mount and exhaust bushing at the crossmember... pulled the muffler and tailpipe to put in the new ones I got from rockauto only to find out they sent me a muffler that wouldn't fit the cat outlet :fs1: hopefully a new one will come soon, did get a new rearmost exhaust mount welded up and installed though so the new tailpipe and muffler won't meet the same fate as the old one.

Did a little wheeling Saturday and Sunday. Ripped off two people's rear bumper attempting recoveries, snapped my tow strap in half on another one. Seized idler pulley bearing, fan clutch does not engage anymore and my rear drive shaft has been modified:

Well not today but on tuesday i painted most of my truck in truck bed coating. Just have the tailgate, roof and hood left to paint. So far i like the way it looks.

Started the peachy process of painting my rig today. Came out like crap in my opinion, probably going to paint over it with a nice flat color.

...yeah defenatly going black again

Did the taillight trim mod

Built a "custom" rollpan......

......until i get the truck back to shop to persuade the broken bumper bolts out and install my $35 jy find (the bumper, not the rear end)

And ran front to back brake lines

Went to the JY and browsed the market. Found a good auxillary electric fan that I needed. Pulled some new looking plug wires for it. Got a pick up or cps to try and get it running again. Noticed how fast they get pilfered when they arrive at u-pull-it. Then I contemplated practicing paint on it before I commit to getting the final color made and things. Then I went to bed to dream about the comanche adventures to come.

I made the "cap" back in the 90's, a wooden frame from 2x4's, 1x4's and I sewed a canvas cover for it. I've gone through a number of coverings.

My favourite was a blue camoflauge material.

Finally got around to hooking up the 2nd gear (It's an AW4) lock in wire again. 3 year old gran dau pulled it loose last Dec when she wanted to know what the red wire was for. Switch light always use to stay on even when not in 2nd so I threw a diode in the line to cure that.

Pulled the lock cylinder out of a 92 column I had to throw in the 2.5... jumped it, after a few minutes of cranking she fired up.

Let it idle for about 45 seconds, sounded rough, and read 0 oil pressure on the gauge. :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:
