Its got a 3" lift on it now, just can't tell under the dirt :D

It's nothing more than an exploration truck - Old Logging/Fire roads and Historical Colonization roads are what I mainly trek. Bumpers have been fab'd and are waiting on springtime and my girlfriend's '68 Monaco to hit the streets again so I have garage space

hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. Just picked up my first Jeep (actually my first 4x4 as well). I actually picked this MJ up from another board member. I look forward to learning from all of you!

4.0 engine

Auto Tranny

These are pics taken by the previous owner, still looks exactly the same. I will try and get some of my own pics up soon.

Welcome...since the previous owner was in Hollister, I assume you are "local" in NorCal? I'm up in Scotts Valley, just north of Santa Cruz and I know there are a couple other guys either a little bit south (Monterey) or a little bit North (San Jose).

The local 4x4Club (see my sig below) hits up Hollister a few times a year, among other runs all over the place if your interested in doing some wheeling!

Ya I am somewhat local. I live up North in Napa. But as good as this thing runs I would not have a problem making the 2 hour drive south to Hollister to do some wheeling. I got a exhaust leak off the manifold that I got to get fixed in the near future and then my MJ will be ready to get out and do some driving!

Nice find , already hooked up and all . I did the black top thing too . IMHO they look more aggressive that way .

Just found the site, just bought my first MJ. Its an 87 with the 4.0. Unsure of axles and trans at this point. I've only had it a week so I'm still learning the details

Got a ton of questions, but I'll look around the forums for answers for now.

From eastern SD, but grew up in the black hills of SD. Always owned and wheeled yotas and nissans. This is my first jeep

Will post pics as soon as I get my computer fixed
