these are two pics of where the heater intake comes from outside. also the source of a leak that drove me crazy. Image Not Found Image Not Found look carefully at the gasket around the heater side of the opening.

so anyway, i am changing my factory wiring. so i remove the protector from the wires and take off all the tape, whatever, and what do i find? after removing the left tail light assembly, i see the ground wires. they are all coming to the left tail light. the junction of these wires is a source of problems. the wire from there to the body ground is on paint. another source of problems. the right side ground wire junction. another source of problems. use star washers with any wire to ground. my advice, CHECK THESE GROUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :redX: :redX: :redX: :redX: :redX: :redX:

if you were not able to engage the clutch? had it been sitting awhile? with mine, the clutch wouldn't engage, so with the motor off i put it in gear, started it up and it broke the rust loose. happened twice, did it twice, now that i am driving it more the clutch and pressure plate haven't rusted together any more. :thumbsup:

trial mounted my new turn signal. also, kept reading wiring diagrams to mount intermittent wipers. somewhat worked out how to hook up the harness.
