88mj i have a tach that i'm going to hook up. autometer 3 3/4 model 2300, 24301, 2302. i have a choice of most standard ignition systems for hook up. it says to use neg side of coil. but on the ign module on my truck the green/ white wire says tach out. :dunno: :idea:

i feel like google is a spreading cancer. but, firefox is great and thunderbird is a good mail site. :yes: i use no-script so i can control my cookies. everything is always temporary. :yes:

for sure use their panel. they change the way the vehicle is wired. i have been surprised at how much is run through the panel. everything is so much simpler.

i have the dash out to make the plate for the new gauges. also i wanted to see what the firewall looks like. and lastly, to see what could possibly cause leaks. i am going to take pictures of the firewall so everyone can see where the possibilities lie for leaks. i still have the the water and vacuum gauges hooked up, and they are turned upside down next to the fuse panel. when i hook up the gauge wiring supplied by wireworks, and make the gauge panel, then it will look right. i have called ron francis with questions and they have been great. each wire is separate so i can run it how and where i want. :yes: when i am done everything on the truck will be controlled by its own dedicated toggle switch. on its own fuse. no more combination fuse crap. :agree: just had cataract surgery in one eye yesterday. in three weeks will have the other eye done. so i will work on the truck as i can.

i have never had that problem and i am using firefox. the only problem is copying from photobucket. it keeps copying the same picture. i finally get rid of it by deleting all cookies. and i don't know why its happening.

that is sickening. i'm going to look at my frame. :ack:

here is a pic of the switch box. Image Not Found in front of it is the small console. can someone take a picture of what it looked like in the stock position. and,or any ideas of how to make the console look good. either something else or what to put underneath the console. thanks :dunno:

yea thats it. if you look in the great lakes 88mj electrical diagrams it shows one. its close to the stop light switch. but as you,i sure can't find one. if i don't, by the time i start the motor, and it starts, i will care less. but if it doesn't??????????? :ack:

where is the clutch switch mounted. it is not located on the clutch pedal on my jeep. thats what i was told, but with the dash, fuse panel and wiring harness gone i can see the petal assembly REAL well. the wires leading from the top of my ax-15 are from the upshift indicator switch. unless i'm wrong. anybody. i have a manual transmission so i don't have a neutral starting switch. i have read four different wiring diagrams for the mj/xj, notice the mj is #1, without a answer. :ack: :wall: :headpop: by the way the rewiring is going well. will post pics soon.
