  1. Well, it is Ebay. If it was on here, I'd be a little more concerned. I could make a mint on some of my tucked away goodies on Ebay, but I'd rather help out people on here. 50% of the stuff I sell on here I brake even on. The other 50%, half of it I make a couple of bucks and the other half I lose a dollar or two. Which I guess that would mean I break even 100%. :dunno: Never was good at math. The only time Ebay gets me a little POd, is when a member here gets raped for it when they could of posted an ad here and got it a lot cheaper. It's even worst when it's a member from here listing it and another member from here getting raped.
  2. I've shipped a couple of dashes. In the $50 range for shipping, so not that bad when you consider the hard to find black interior. If I had one and was sending it to him, it would be close to $100-125 total with shipping, depending on the price I had to pay for the dash at the JY. If it was going to say, San Diego, CA. it would only be $20 to $30 more on top of the price above for shipping. And just so you know, the dashes that I've sent in the past were Black and I included everything with them. To the OP, I'll keep my eyes open for ya.
  3. Can't remember if the ZJ's had a 16 in rim or not but TJ's do. You can look at the Ford Mustang, F150, ranger and explorer rims. Also the Mazda B series pickups. They have 16 and 17 inch in several designs. Just make sure to check the backspacing on some of their newer rims.
  4. I personnally wouldn't pay that much. If your not in dire need of new tires, wait for a better deal. I've seen them go for half that with near new tires. Check your local craigslist daily and since the weather is getting nice, start looking for yard sales and swap meets.
  5. Prior to that crap, around here 2000-2001 XJ's were in the $2-3K range. Now, all you can find is one's in the 4-6K range. On the stealer lots they list them in the 8K neighborhood. :fs1:
  6. For a little over a $100 you can get a set of rebuilt and flow matched ones from Precision Auto Injectors. You can even get the 5.0 injectors which will improve performance and mpg for a little more. Here's the link: http://www.precisionautoinjectors.com/main.sc
  7. It's a scavenger hunt. :D I fixed it. :dunce:

    MJ horns

I've always wanted a train horn but figured I'd get sued for causing a wreck or heart attack. :D http://www.hornblasters.com/video.php
  10. This may sound simple but turn the headlight knob to make sure it not just dimmed down all the way.
  11. One on Ebay but you better hurry it ends tomorrow. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... K:MEWAX:IT
  12. I see the new seals for them from time to time on ebay but other than finding a good set in the JY or RTVing them shut, your best option is... I know, shameless plug. :D
  13. It really depends on your taste. Do you want a system that has quality sound or one that thumps and rattles your teeth loose. I personnally recommend Infinity speakers in the proper size that replace the factory speakers. I'm a big fan of the, "don't advertise what you have" idea and also "don't hack up your interior to make something fit". If you put something that someone else passing by can see and want, you'll find a busted window and empty hole when you get to your truck. I kept the factory am/fm and put Infinity Kappa's and Reference series in the stock locations. I believe in quality sound that is clean and crisp. Afterall, the cab space is not that big so you don't need alot. I have a 12 disc changer and aux input that will tuck away in the center console and might put a slim sub in there as well but not planning on it at this time. Prepare your cab for sound by using deadning material were you can. Here's a couple of pics to give you some ideas and a link in the DIY section. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=17006
  14. Here's a few links http://www.4x4wire.com/jeep/tech/brakes ... /knuckles/ http://www.nagca.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37241 http://www.xjdb.com/article15.html http://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/wj-knuckle-swap-33046/ There's a lot of them out there. I may end up doing this on the Wild build but it will be after I get it back on the road. EDIT: Here's the knuckles, draglink, and calipers. The rod ends are all that's needed off the draglink.
  15. That's the afterbody connector for the fuel pump and tail lights. If you swapped in a XJ harness you will need to spice both of the afterbody connectors into the XJ dash harness. Here is a write up in the DIY section that will help you out. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=19695
  16. Wondering why it has that it only fits 84 XJ's: Fits these Vehicles 1984 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) 76-83 Jeep CJ-5 76-84 Jeep CJ-7 81-84 Jeep CJ-8 Could there have been a change after 84?
  17. Just ran a AutoCheck on it. Clean record. Started off in NV, went to CA, then ended up in PA and was auctioned. Now it's here in VA. :D If anyone is interested in the full report, just send me a PM. 18. Forgot who it was. Anyhow, here's a Gem with 56000 miles to droll over. I know, probably should have put it in the classifieds, but it was in the pub that they were talking about it. Here's the listing. I emailed to see if he would give me a price. http://norfolk.craigslist.org/ctd/1639458264.html
  19. Can't learn unless you try. I've got one that I'm planning on doing just that after I learn how to weld. I figure it's better to have the parts on hand without the skills than to have the skills without the parts. :D
  20. :agree: You should always try to make anything you do to your truck reversible. And using the stock bracket works great.
  21. Yeh, I was going to say that Audi was basically a VW with another name on it. I agree with you on the 1.8T. Had the 03 jetta wolfsburg edition and it was without a doubt the quickest car I've ever owned and hella fun to drive. Had it a year and traded for an SUV. :shake: You pretty much hit on the point I tried to lay out. You may be better off in the short with the Audi but if somthing happen that you couldn't manage yourself, you could be stuck. At least if you can manage to keep yours, you know the history and what to expect from it. Good Luck.
  22. If it's the one listed in PA, which according to the VIN it is, something seems fishy about it. $5k + under book for retail. Not sure what your situation is, but I think if your that close to paying yours off, I'd work with the bank to refi or something till you get stable again. One thing to consider on that Audi, is one trip to the mechanic will be an arm and a leg. Hope it all works out for you.
  23. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: Too funny. :D
  24. Yes it is a ranger bed. I think it would look better with the 97+ front on the MJ. Stealing your pic's again Wildman. :redX:
  25. Use to have a link but it doesn't work anymore. :fs1: Found this one on JF and if you look at the related links at the bottom they point to others on this topic. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/disa ... em-597672/
