  2. got a few flurries and rain here......dissapointing.
  3. Pull the lower radiator hose to drain the system, Than if your gonna use a hose to flush the system just undo a hose or 2 at the Thermostat and run water through everything till it is clear from the other side. When youre done and ready to refill either jack up the truck as high as you can from the rear axle or back it up onto a slanted service. Crack open the coolant temp sensor on the back drivers corner of the engine and fill system untill coolant begins to flow from that area. Drop the truck down and Let engine reach operating temp. Then fill coolant bottle to spec.
  4. Still search 1-2 times a week, Still have come up empty everytime in the search for a Comanche model or diecast...
  5. My Spartan has been great in my D30, I noticed the other day that Rockauto.com offers Spartans for less than $300 ;)
  6. Just to be sure, pull them off and make sure theyre bare metal where they connect to the battery post. If they are not and theyre powdercoated all the way around then theres no connection being made to the battery...I had that problem with a set of terminals awhile back ;)
  7. The new ends you put on, were they color coded? Like a Black and a Red 1 or were they just bare metal?
  8. I'm on your side as well! Great stuff!
  9. Well Ive had a clunking noise arise from the front axle recently, after throughly checking the brakes and unit bearings I came to the conclusion that it was my Locker. So I ordered up a rebuild spring/pin kit and dug in tonight. Got the old stuff out And got the new in and the carrier reinstalled this evening, Itll spend a day or 2 in the garage till i get some gear oil and get the rest back together. I immediatly noticed improvement in engagment and hopefully this cures my noise issue. If for some reason it doesnt, well atleast ill have a fresh locker! hahaha
  10. Either or, but you can just use RTV without a gasket. just make sure both mating surfaces are very clean before reinstallation. ;)

  22. Ive seen 1 or 2 of these pop up online. Id yank the rear seat and turn it into a "conversion van" type XJ. Mild lift and such and have an awesome overnighter! Also I believe the Tugs were considered CJ-6's, but don't hold me to that ;)
