  1. Ill play this game again. Before After
  2. The Quaker State Defy 10w30 oil is also only SL rated to my knowledge. Amsoil has a line of 10w40 out that is specifically designed to SL and prior specs as well.
  3. I have a few mag articles and such but my favorite has just gotta be my "Walker Evans Eliminator" and this signed photo of walker Evans in his Jeep Firesuit!
  4. Took a few minutes and got the valve cover off this evening. Everything looks clean under there and besides a broken plastic vaccum line all went well. Ill be cleaning up the valve cover and giving it a nice paint job here in the near future. ;)
  5. Ha Ha, your right Walker has no further suspension mods in its future. I would love to jack the Blue truck up a bit more but for now its plenty capable for anything i get it out to do. So many Jeep projects to do and i believe everything is pretty much where its needs to be :)
  6. Amazing! Id love to have this stance with my blue truck someday! Looks great!
  7. Those coil spacers are scary! Otherwise looks like its coming along good, had to laugh at the Supertrapp pipe as well!
  8. Well i came to the conclusion that it was part of or is some sore of security system....the wires run to 2 seperate sensor block thingys and 1 went directly to the battery. :dunno: I pulled the fuse and disabled it for now with no effects on drivability. I did howecver find a nice suprise with the Harmonic balancer this evening  Um yeah, that will need addressed for sure, lol.....i got it in the garage this evening and along with "Walker" itll be getting some attention over the winter months
  9. I unofficially kicked off my Winter Jeep projects this evening. Started simple installing a new cap/rotor and wires on this truck, Plugs were put in less than 2k miles ago. On the list of things to come. Valve Cover Gasket Paint up valve cover New Injectors 4 new shocks Spidertraxx rear spacers Keep checking back!
  10. From the pictures it does, I'm pretty sure it says something about a key lockbox on it though. Ill find out tomorrow....ill have this baby in the garage this week and slowly begin a few small projects for it.
  11. Thanks guys! I believe that thing under the hood is a spare key holder, what good it does there is beyond me, cause if your locked out of the Jeep popping the hood would take some work, lol
  12. Haha theyll likey be gone, even she doesnt like them. Theyre in pretty nice shape though!
  13. Lots of hard work in this thread, Glad to see new life givin to a truck in equally good condition!
  14. Looked like a blast! I'm gonna try and get up there 2-3 times next year. Who knows maybe we'll have a small CC gathering 1 of these days up there. Keep up the good work!
  15. Its funny how sometimes deals fall into your lap. I came apon this fine machine earlier in the week. After alittle consideration I knew this XJ was coming home with me. Its a 1991 Cherokee Laredo. The end plan sometime down the road is for this Jeep to become the DD for the fiance' when her 99 Ranger has had enough. 4.0/AW4/242/D30/D35 but the biggest gift is ONLY 123k miles! Yes! and with the following pictures you can see why I had to jump on this so quickly! O yeah, all settled on a purchase price of only $1500 :D This now makes the family Jeep total an even 10.
  16. Those c4c videos are truely heartless and make me wanna excercise my firearms on the idiots behind that program everytime i see 1!
  17. Happy Thanksgiving! Go Cowboys!
  18. I love these trucks as much as all of us, but I gotta say those guys are just another classic example of how tough this platform was. Also atleast it wasnt the prettiest of MJs when they bought it. Thanks for sharing, it sure did look like fun!
  19. Kinda mellow, but besides the fact, that JK is sweet! (and I'm not a JK guy)
  20. ill be watching this 1 for sure! Love the old Racing articles and pictures!
  21. You planning on bringing back the Chrysler paint scheme on this too :brows:
  22. If this all comes together I'm definently voting on the trucks name to be....."Archer"
  23. Thats awesome Ben! and I want your hat!!!! lol
  24. Your on the right track. Definently check out the TPS real good, and the vacuum system. Both can play big roles in a smooth idle.
