  3. Theres a small clear box up under the dash, it looks like its full of small gears, Unplug that and the light will go away. :thumbsup:
  4. Well its been a couple weeks but after some confusion I have my new Transfer Case skidplate! Ill probably get it installed this weekend, Happy to have something new to bolt on for my next Offroad excursion :yes:

  14. Go take a peak at it.....unless its just full of noticable issues than its really hard to not go for it for $700. imo
  15. 95+ XJs and all WJs are what are swapped the most.
  16. Also could be chewed up Spider gears....alot less of a hassle to fix.
  17. Hmmmm I'm sure that would probably work but for the money and effort i have in this particular truck the peace of mind knowing its under a good cover wouldnt bother me at all.

  20. Skid Row Transfer Case skid ordered. Will install shortly after it arrives. :D Planning another trip to Rausch Creek late in October :cheers:
  21. A grind into 3rd is a common symptom with the AX15. Not nessisarly related at all to your experience.
  22. here's the progress from throughout the week :thumbsup: Bad stuff cut away Some of the Plating/welding work. What a mess it was... :ack: 1st shot of undercoating Some new correct length shocks All back on the ground and ready for many more happy adventurous years! :jump: It sure was an experience but well worth it seeing a completed frame in the rear once again....man i really hate rust! Next up is a REAL transfer case skid and probably some odds and ends along the way, i really need to take care of the rear axle seals @ some point... ill keep ya posted!
  23. Well its been a busy week of cutting, welding and grinding but after all the effort the truck will be back home tomorrow! Its been a ride and I have many pictures of the process to share......Its stronger than ever now and I'm excited to have it back to normal :) Pics to come!!!
