  1. Yeah i don't figure on going cheap. the truck will still be garage kept this winter so rain/snow won't be an issue but i just want that extra sense of protection from inside elements
  2. Hey guys, Well Winter will be here before we know it in the northeast and that means itll be time to store "Walker" away in the garage for a few months. Since i do some work in there from time to time I'm gonna get a cover to throw over it to keep the dust and crap off of it. I was wondering if there are any specific covers that would work better for a SWB MJ with a rollbar and lights mounted. I know i can just walk into a chain parts store and probably get something generic but before i do that I was seeing if any of you guys with collector cars or even your MJs themselves reccommend any specific type or brand of covers. Thanks fellas!
  3. "Walker" got me an hour long conversation with another MJ owner and new customer for my job.
  4. The CoMansion YES! hahaha. That or the RC MJ would be sweet!
  5. Looks good man! lovin the light setup!
  6. :shake: I have nothing to say to this. I do agree through, Crossovers need to have their own place, and its not in the 4x4 world!
  7. Well Ive kept my eye on this growing situation and next week ill be putting some hard hours in along with my Uncle to repair this issue. Of course its more rust. The cancer has attacked the rear of this truck BAD and I need to get this all resolved before winter is upon us. Next week ill be hard at it so look for more pictures of progress . :wrench: here's some samples of the disease. Best wishes towards a speedy recovery! :waving:
  8. Yep, Thanks from me as well. ill get the hang of it, it shouldent take long since in on here enough!
  9. Enjoyed another show today, no trophy this time though but still plenty of attention
  10. Rob says hes working on it. Minor setback ;)
  11. There was 1 of these at the York Jeep show this summer. Id definently drive 1 8)
  12. I kinda like that Wagoneer, but that Liberty is just hideous! I don't get the "crossover" styling of all modern SUVs at all. Holy fricken blindspots! :shake: :fool:
  13. Correct. that is the ECU and that hose goes to a vent located in the kick panel right below the steering wheel ;)
  14. Nice work! Maybe sometime we'll meet up at Rausch Creek. I try to make it up there a few times a year, its addicting
  15. Cool! I do have my own garage but I'm starting to really dream about having my own home and garage. something of your setup would be great!

  17. I really have no idea, ive never ripped them out and they havent worked since ive had the truck. ha ha ill have 2 check sometime in I'm under there again ;)
  18. My Blue 88 has small speakers mounted in those locations. ;)
  19. Sweet! its 1 thing to be a collector of MJs, but yours are all Eliminators....even cooler!
  20. Yeah theres definently a pumpkin stiking down on the left side, thats not IFS were seeing, its a leaf sprung soild axle setup  O yeah, I'm gonna also agree with :ack: but wouldnt it be super cool if we could find out if this thing is acctually hiding in a warehouse somewhere kinda like the Thundercheif? That would be heck of a find! :D
  21. Could definently be a failing CPS, but it sure points more towards a fuel problem. You don't have to drop the tank to replace the pump although it may make it a bit easyer depnding on your height. Otherwise it really sounds like a ballast resistor issue, double check that area and the wiring before digging into the fuel pump and just make sure everything is for certian alright there  Good Luck! ;)
  22. Applyed a fresh coat of bedliner to my lower doors and rockers. Looks much better
  23. I'm around 3" of lift on my Blue truck and Its plenty capable. Youll notice better improvement off road with the likes of Armor and Lockers than you will with a large lift and tires and open diffs ;) Just for the record my truck got everywhere the Wranglers of the group on 33-37" tires did my last trip to Rausch, just need a good spotter and patinence
  24. sounds like the symptoms of the classic Crank Sensor ;)
