  4. That is a very Sexy Truck! I need to get up to Rausch again in the next couple months.
  5. Best statement right there. It always seems to need something you didnt expect. You plan on fixing one thing, buy the new parts, finally find time to tackle it, and sure enough, something else catches your eye that needs a fixing as well. This^ and This^ and I wouldnt have it any other way!
  6. Loose connection @ the speedometer or transfer case, or the beginnings of a fraying cable......those would be my guesses
  7. I'm happy to see the search function acctually working! Haha.....no harm in reviving an old post, I myself read through the whole thing, and i even was a member back when it was origional. don't sweat it bud ;)
  8. Glad to hear your plans.....best of luck and enjoy the heck out of it!
  9. Very likely.10. I believe the 4:56 ratio was only standard in 2.5 Automatic transmission equipt vehicles, and even then it may have just been an option. ;)
  10. Took the cover of for the 1st time in 2013 and went out for a quick drive. The truck runs Awesome! I definently think i woke it up a bit. It was great being able to put a few miles on her and hopefully the weather begins to become nicer in the coming weeks.
  11. 1 gallon will be oodles. I usually use about 2/3 gallon total applying 3 coats.
  12. Patiently Waiting :group beer:
  13. Nope, no clear coat applied. Just prepped (mostly scuffed) taped off the edges and rolled er on. Very easy process and is easly do able in any garage or outside if weather permits. Also its no more expensive (if not cheaper) than an aresol spray bomb job and is much more durable! After about a year the paint has held up fantastic, havent noticed any major fading or chipping anywhere, even after being up aginst a tree @ 1 point. For a durable and cost effiiciant paint job, ill reccommend a Roller and brushes everytime!
  14. My Little Dumpster turned over 180k miles today.
  15. Cool deal! Its always nice to fix 2 problems at once! haha
  16. Man i would drive the hell outta that truck! Beautiful!
  17. Awesome, sounds like you plan on making your own "Oscar".....a Reliable and semi straight DD that can be drivin year round in any weather and not have to worry about a flaw here and there! Sounds like a plan!

  22. You must be from PA or around the area, I saw this truck listed a few times. Glad to see it has found a good home!
  23. O man, theyve got ya now......trading an XJ out for a Kj!? Atleast youve gotten vary fimiliar with them over the past few weeks ;)

  25. Lots of Awesome and intresting facts in this video. The Cherokee XJ saved the jeep brand in the 80s and it just sickens me to see the modern day Jeep corperation using that same name to badge the worthless vehicles of today and thinking they hold a candle to the jeeps of the past. I'm not sorry to say this video choked me up a time or 2. This is what Jeep was built on, and this is what Jeep should always be remembered and associated as!
