  1. I can not imagine your bent your Dana 30 by flexing. Dana 30 tubes are commonly bent by catching some air ;)
  2. Sounds like a front locker would benefit you greatly! Some weight never hurts either ;)
  3. I know the fronts were Dana 44s. The rears are likely Chrysler 9.25s or something like that. Theyll be full width so youll have to setup for that as well. Not many people go into swapping them for some reason but I wouldnt think it would be a terrible swap imo ;)
  4. Looked like a blast! "You did it wrong!" LMAO!
  5. This thing is just wicked cool! the price is definitely right for someone to pick this up! http://york.craigslist.org/cto/4012901514.html
  6. Depends on what the quad was....lol Na even as an avid Yamaha ATV Fan It would be hard to turn down a decent Comanche like that!
  7. "Yellow Refried Pigeon Feces" LMAO!!!!
  8. Um looks like a Life vest might be a better choice in that situation...
  9. 2 great MJ builders united! Great photos showing the scenery as well
  10. Haters gonna Hate.... I personally enjoy driving a vehicle that still has a name, alot auto manufacturers have gone lazy all together and just throw numbers and letters together to create a "name" for their vehicles. BMW M3 Fiat 500 Volvo XC40 Mercedes C Class Lexus IS300 Blah Blah Blah LAME! Haha Ok ive drifted far enough off course here i think :peek:
  11. I found "Oscar" in 1 spot.....lol No sign of any of my other 1s and I live far enough off the main drag that street view doesnt even come close to my place
  12. Nice! 4cyl, 4x4........don't see those too Often.
  13. You are correct, the Sportruck was a base model Comanche. Glad to have ya here! This is a very good group of guys and a few girls all with a weird passion for a 20+ year old little pickup. Youll fit right in  . :MJ 1: .
  14. Just looks like some slight material is missing from the knuckle from possible erosion/rust at some point during it life. I wouldnt be bothered by it as long it it went in right and is set good and tight ;) JMO
  15. Great job @ the show....I also love taking the MJ's to shows. Nice lookin truck
  16. Looks great as always! Question though, whats the 2nd cooler behind the grill for?
  17. Yeah, there are no C-Clips inside the D44 carrier. The Shafts can be removed without even opening up the Housing ;)
  18. Have fun! Some year id like to make a trip down there for Jeep week.
  19. Yeah, besides the pedal height being higher its a straight bolt in swap, You also will probably need to make the 2 short brake lines as well between the master cyl. and the distribution block.
  20. The Term "Ugly" is a very loose term when it comes to Comanches......Id rather describe your truck as practical or colorfully challenged ;) Tire question?........Do you use those tires on the roads and how are they? Ive seen them advertised for sale a time or 2 but they stated not for highway use, just wondering if theyre really "that bad" for a truck that sees very little highway activity and how they performed offroad?
  21. Enjoyed the story! Sounds like it was all worth it to me
  22. I threw a 3" Hell Creek XJ AAL in my MJ and got right about 2" of lift with no sacrifice to ride quality ;)
  23. Because it's cool!! Ok ill admit, that lowered truck is cool!
  24. Check out this fellas build thread, he lowed his about 3".....Idk how to achive a full "slammed" look but I'm sure someone can help ya out. http://comancheclub.com/topic/36999-george/
