  1. That is a guy I know from Lilburn GA. Does awesome work at great prices.
  2. It's replacing the word "what" except spelled with a "u." W-u-t. :rotfl2: :shake: close though
  3. I have most of the wiring done. I need to get the dash wiring and the cooling system sorted out then she will be good to go. I am hoping she is turn key by the end of summer. I have been busy with work and honey do's to make much progress. How is yours coming along? I will be putting some pics up in the folder this weekend for your veiwing pleasure.
  4. /\ I do not wheel anymore. > I could possibly own the very first 86 MJ and I do have the first 87 Shelby Charger produced. \/ What is your favorite band or singer?
  5. I see a orange oil filter box in your pics. Do not use a Fram on a 4.0!
  6. Read his build thread for the "blue" truck in his sig!
  7. Dibs on the Pentastar key fob if you decide to let it go.
  8. That is a 2 door XJ door as well!
  9. If it has drop brackets than the front will be fine with them. You need to host pictures on another site, photobucket, and link the image here. Search around there is a link that will walk you through the process. Edit: Found it http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11077
  10. I would pin the cracks, weld them shut, and plate the area with fish mouthed 1/8 plate. I would also run a steering box brace to help stop it from ever happening again. I would go with a good long arm kit in the front and ditch the short arms. Semper Fi!
  11. Check on southernjeeps.org there is always a set of waggy wheels on there for dirt cheap.
  12. The 97+ bumper will NOT work on a 88 MJ without cutting the 96- fenders.
  13. Reads like code for, POSER! Really? A body lift? They even suck on topless Jeeps.
  14. 97-06 TJ. The later model tanks are different on the TJ. I think 04 or something like that. ChryCo added some weird emissions stuff to the top of the tank. I used and 97 pump with a 01 tank. I went with a 22? gallon tank. It was the bigger of the two availble for the TJs.
  15. Air bubble in the head. Bleed the head like a RENIX 4.0 and see if that help you.
  16. When I was doing the 97 swap on Onyx I had the bed off and debated putting it there. It would have probably been easier than keeping it in the stock location like it did. My truck was a SWB. The TJ is cut and angled just like the rear frame of a SWB MJ. You would have to figure out the pump and gauge wiring though.
  17. TJ tank will fit there like it is made for it.
  18. Thank you Chief!
  19. Haven't been following this since last year Bo. You saying the Marines don't need the land for training? Yes we do need land to train on Don. There is more land to the East of the base that can serve the same purpose as JV. The days of running three Battaloins side by side into combat are long gone. This is the reason they want JV. I think it is going to come down to an eminent domain issue and the Hammers will just be taken. But, I am not giving up my land without a fight.
  20. The D30 will be a low pinion. It will make getting a good pinion angle a PIA. The rear is either a D35 or a D44. Not likely someone would swap out a good D44. If the TJ was a 4.0, 5 speed it probably has 3:07 gears. Which will suck with any tires bigger than a 31s. I get my spring perches from either the dealer or Summit Racing.
  21. We really need to trade bumpers and drip rail moldings. I have a NOS black bumper and used black drip rail moldings. I want chrome.
  22. I WANT THAT TRUCK!!! It is perfect.
  23. Go to the link, write your letter, and save our trails! If you do not have a PBB screen name you can use mine, same has on here. DO IT!!!!!!! http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=977850
  24. We (we being the 15th MEU) had him in our sights in Dec 01. I was with the 15th MEU and was one of the first Marines on the ground with the 03s. The initial invasion is long forgotten history. But, I remember it like it was yesterday. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camp_Rhino One of my many tasks was to feed Johnny Walker 3 times a day until he was flown out to be "interviewed". I still can hear the Maj, MAJ "K-Dawg, have you been feeding Walker pork chow mein everyday for the last week?" ME "Yes Sir...?" MAJ "He his Muslum you butthole he can't eat pork!" Me "Oops, I forgot!" :rotf:
