Well somebody got to become knowledgeable about it to inform the rest of us. Load one up and test it on and off road and provide feed-back. -
Just measured my 89 stock. 4 5/16 it appears. Could go 1/16 either way, but I won't quibble about it with the experts on here.

Me thinks this poll is tainted.

Well, two out of the three is pretty much the way I do it

Just returned from 1958 mile trip. Fist fill-up in Oregon was 1.70 a gal. Highest was 1.99 near Tijuana crossing. Overall averaged 1.855 for entire trip. Lot of places were still over $2.00 in So. CA, but, I avoided them.

Thats the rhetostat which regulates the voltage flow from 0 - 12 V. -
Where you see oil on the ground, as said previously just dig it up and throw the dirt over your shoulder in all directions as far as you can. Its probeally no more than a few inches deep in the ground. Find some fresh dirt and fillin. It will come back as a weed patch in short time. The stuff you throw around in the woods isn't going to be doing any significant damage. It'll purge it self eventually.

If you want comfort the grand wagoneer in leather is sweet. Wish I still had mine with the 360/400 combo. It was a dream to drive. Plush off roading piece of equipment.

WOW, that was speedy. The shirt is here & it almost matches up with MJ's color. I like it. Tried to send a pic but I got a glitch getting it from P Bucket to here. Thanks for your effort on this deal.

Chopping sound under hard acceleration.

Just turn the stero up & drive. -
Looks kosher to me. Only problem I see is his turning is limited to about 15 degree corners before he takes out his rear hatch. An extra set of axles on stilts under the front of that thing will even it right out. :clapping:

In addition to whats already been stated here's a lil mo clarification, hopefully Step 2: Remove the two small screws holding the trip meter in place, and gently slide the meter out, and place aside. Step 3: What you have now is an odometer attached to the speedometer gauge face and needle. You’ll see a cylinder of numbers, which is of course, your odometer. Depending on how you’re holding it, you will see a small, thinner black wheel up next to the 100K column. This piece should rotate freely. Right next to this part, you will see a very small “C” clamp. This clamp needs to be removed, and I found it to be rather tricky. The easiest way I found to remove this, was to take a flat headed screwdriver and press it against the “C” clamp openings. Use caution while doing this, because when my “C” clamp popped off, it flew away pretty far. Step 4: Slide the rotating black plastic piece away from the number columns in the odometer. Use a toothpick, or like device, to try and create a small gap between which number column you want to change. The numbers should rotate backwards and forwards freely. Push it back together when you have your desired number showing through the speedometer face. Repeat this step until you’ve changed all desired numbers. Step 5: Make sure the numbers are lined up on the speedometer face. Step 6: Reinstall the “C” clamp. I used a pair of needle nosed pliers to hold onto it, and press the clamp in place. This is from an article in NAXJ.

Thats a great story. That s--- does happen and all to frequently.

Why don't you loosen the two screws on the switch, hold the key in accesory position while sliding the switch down the column to remove rod slack, tighten screws, and then try to start it again. Something could have slipped on your initial install of switch. If that don't change anything I would make sure all elect connection on starter are clean & tight. I would check, clean and tighten all connections on distribution block next to battery and make sure cables are clean & tight to battery post. If that don't do it borrow a couple newer battery cables and slap on it. I've had battery cables build up internal corrrison that diminished current flow once battery capacity had diminished slightly. Is the ECU getting voltage in the run position? :dunno:

Detroit Lake to Mt. Hood

Don't try that this week. Most of that is under 2 feet of snow now. Suppose to dump on it again tonight. -
