  1. Just for anyone interested in nice MJ. CHECK. Eugene OR craigslist. fwiw 1990 JEEP COMANCHE ELIMINATOR (122Kmi) - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle automotive sale
  2. While your there it might be wise to replace that over used, soon to explode, upper radiator hose. Mine blow out when they bulgelike that , and usually when far out in the boonies. LOL
  3. Had the same problm as Paradise , as it came down the front of door and ran under plastic at threshhold and then under edge of carpet and down to floor. The leaking strips (a Chrysler after thought) that are on upper front edge of door are available on line and simple to install. Put some glue under them to keep them from warping out of shape. If yours are not in bad shape just pop the original pins or screws and glue them down to stop water from running under them.
  4. Regular $3.09 today.
  5. Nuf room for an elk body sitting up. Just run seat belts out the back window n strap it in. Oh, n put his rack in the rack.

  8. Now back to testing that back pressure. I use a hollowed out 02 sensor myself, but, this will work also.
  9. Brought it in out of the rain. Had duct taped the A pillar up on outside in search of leak. Didn't get it so will slap more tape around the cowl until I hit the leaky spot.

  14. I like my 242 more than the old 231. It just provides another weather related option on the road. And come winter time I just put in full time and leave it there so wife and kids don't have to mess with shifting in and out of 4X4 when they drive on different road conditions.
  15. Smaller wheel makes steering a little busier, and more cranking on corners. A 1" smaller doesn't make much noticeable difference.
  16. Congrats. That will put a little more jingle in the retirement pockets.
  17. Bolted in steering box brace from Kevin's Off Road. Easy install. It connects frame rail to frame rail and clamps to steering box. More solidification for the weak MJ uni-frame on my 4.0. Difference in steering was noticeable.
  18. Not unusual to hit a bump under power and have the rear of a light weight vehicle kick sideways, sometimes called a skid. Pikes Peak comes to mind
  19. What he say? 1/3 of blade 4 times be one whole blade, so where that leave yuh

    Question

Well he's gone and done it again. The last time he was on a binge rumor has it he didn't come home for a week until the neighbor womans husband came home and threw him out. Them bruises looked suspicious.
  21. Hope this thread enlightens you. I found my 242 wiring harness behind the AW4 bracket as shown in photo. Just make sure you have a 2 wire elec switch screwed in at the rear of TC> I did have to pull the guage panel and install a bulb also. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=970403
  22. It was simple to do. However, it was a while back (3 years or so) that I did this. It only required one wire to be run from a to B and volaaa the little green light came on. Now trying to remember where A and B are is the problem. I'll try a little searching on other site's and see if I can come up with the answer.
  23. I owned a couple of Wilys Overlands, mostly 50 - 52 models. here's one of them. This may have been a 48-49, to long ago to be accurate.
  24. First time I've run across one of these.. http://eugene.craigslist.org/pts/3344397062.html
