  1. Hey, I saw you on jeepforum about a month ago. :wavey: If the frame is still good, who cares about the body. Getting running good and DRIVE that sucker.
  2. No, because we all ditched the stupid thing! Unless its in mint condition and only used as a grocery getter, i would advise you do the same. otherwise you will end up stuck on a trail, unable to engage 4wd because either you don't have tools, or you axle is inaccesable. I.e. under water/mud
  3. Best quality, for the money. Its a little higher than you wanted but you can't beat it for the price, plus it will give you the excuse to get bigger tires. http://comancheclub....-complete-lift/ And if 5.5 is just too high, BDS has a nice kit for a 3in lift, for roughly the same. http://bds-suspensio...6-1991&kid=440H
  4. Old cowboy wisdom "An eye for an eye leaves everybody blind"
  5. $1000 without tires/wheels whichever, $1300 with. If you do get it, i wouldnt even bother with doing body work. As said before it gets extremely expensive extremely fast. Make sure the driveability is sound and drive that sucker. Also, ask if the a/c and heat work.
  6. Smart man.
  7. Put a small pebble in each of the valve stem caps, when they screw the caps on the pebble will depress the vavle, letting the air out. Sit back and laugh. Also, while it does seem self incriminating on their part to suddenly take interest in what you were doing with your truck when you went to mess with it. How sure are you they had anything to do with it?
  8. He said he can hear the pump prime when he turns the key, that would mean the resistor is fine.
  9. Naval Jelly is POR-15's b*@$£, its good stuff. But poor prep will diminish any products effectiveness
  10. Not at all, it would be crazy awesome if a company did take up the idea. But like everything else for our trucks, it would make for an extremely limited market for who ever did decide to make said rocker kit.
  11. bout as bad as mine
  12. Yes, but not not starting. Normally it just takes a few more cranks when its cold, not a complete failure to fire. Is it even trying? or does it act like its totally dead?
  13. Thats not dreaming, thats hallucinating. I think your doin a little to much of this :chillin:
  14. Now thats just not fair.
  15. Nicely done Jim.
  16. its quite possible, like you said wet/muddy boots. If the truck came from/is from an area with alot of snow, theres your answer.
  17. Your wish, Granted! http://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/dash-removal-35444/
  18. :yeah that: Pete's doin this :peek: trying to avoid all the offers being throwin at him :laughin: including mine.
  19. For the windsheild, absolutely. Unless you are a pro with pro experience and pro tools i wouldnt even think about it. As for the rear all it takes is a little patience and thoroghness to ensure a leak proof job that will last.
  20. Good thinking pulling the carpets. Pete would be proud, BTW how did the floors look? The guy wanting 1100 for a 2.5 is off his rocker.
  21. Ooh, sorry to hear that bud. I am curious as to how it broke, pictures?
  22. Not bad, looking foward to the final product. :)
  23. Seriously, how much do you want for it? :chillin:
  24. So its just the two tubes that come off the actual bed bars? :hmm:
