  1. Did you read my post? The OP said he used an 8.8 grade bolt as a replacement. I suggested he use a 10.9 which is the metric equivalent to a grade 8, not 8.8.

:rotfl2: I was just trying to lighten the mood. Would you rather hear a racsist joke? So a white guy and an asian guy walk into a bar, .......THE REST OF THIS SENTENCE HAS BEEN DELETED BY shelbyluvv......
  3. 10.9 is equivalent to a grade 8. Why would you use anything less than that on a critical piece of the front end?
  4. I drove 850 miles to get my MJ. I'm sure you can find one in your price range.

I think JeepCo should mail 87mjdriver his remaining testicle, both as payment and as a token of apology. That should square things up right?
  6. It is easy to remove, and I will be drilling a hole into one of the bolts so it can be locked.
  7. Looks pretty sexy. It definitely looks a lot better with the 35's than the 33's that were on it. (Oh yeah, I say just borrow the tires until they're bald and the sidewalls are covered with rock rash, then give them back. That's what family is for, right?)
  8. The vents are from the junkyard. They were on a rx-7, but it was obvious that wasn't their original home. I've been told Trans Am, but honestly I have no idea. Anyway, I was so bored today that I just started walking around my Jeep looking for things to do. So I mounted my high-lift.
  9. Whats your plan for the build?
  10. SOA, 1.5" U'bolt eliminators, 1.5" shackle. Should net you ~8" with stock MJ leafs. Thats how I'd do it.
  11. What a champion! But no, sadly not related to me. Funny I was just looking for that video and couldn't find it, or any pics. Can I get a little help here?
  12. :huh???: You realize what ATF stands for - Automatic Transmission Fluid? It works much better in automatic transmissions. :hmm: Willy That's how you fill up the transmission. Duh Willy! You should know that.
  13. Does it have a 44 out back? I think most Chiefs did.
  14. MiNi Beast = FAIL Sounds like a great plan. But for some reason I foresee another minibeast style "Epic hillbilly failure". For Christ's sake kid, your build thread is the story of how you destroyed 3 Jeeps. I can't what to see how you brutally molest #4!
  15. You could run a 33 without them. Just trim your fenders and properly bumpstop.
  16. 35's, 4.10's, and a four-banger?! How's the clutch holding up? How's your power in your opinion?
  17. Looks good, but I agree with JeepCoMJ, you gotta make it an even number of lights on the bumper. Either ditch the middle, or cram another one in there. The stinger on that looks really good.
  18. That rear bumper is amazing.
  19. Boy that doesn't sound cheap. Hopefully you can just borrow one. Nice work as always Willy, I wanna be just like you when I grow up. What do you do for a living if you don't mind me asking.
  20. Obviously you didn't read that whole thread. Go ahead and run a double shackle, its a great idea! In fact, if 2 are better than one, why not just keep adding shackles.

  22. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.p ... le+shackle Read the entire thread. From its conception to its ultimate demise.
  23. spring under or spring over?
  24. Don't run a double shackle. Ditch it.
