  1. While the jury is still out on the hood vents, I decided to make my doors easily removable. Something I've been wanting to do for a long time. Unbolted the doors. Driving with no door is crazy fun. Then I took the lower ear off of the door side portion of the hinge, and hammered out the pin and dropped in a door hinge pin from the hardware store. Then I put the doors back on. What the finished product looks like. So now my doors just lift right off when I want to ditch them. This modification took about 4 hour I'd say from start to finish. My doors closed and sealed fine. Now to build some drop in tube doors.
  2. From what I can remember, it was great.
  3. They are actually cabin vents located on the rear quarter, the actually model I don't know. I saw them at the JY and thought they might be cool.
  4. Hey, nice job kid, you made a joke. It was at my expense and I laughed, it was funny.
  5. OK, just to clear this up, I will not be using anymore than one set on the truck.
  6. Choices, choices.

    Have a nice day

Here is what you do to fix it. 1. Drive out of the rust belt. 2. Buy a rust free Comanche. 3. Drive home. 4. Swap anything of value from "Rusty" onto your new Jeep 5. Sell whats left of the 2 There you go. Rust is a cancer, no matter how many band-aids you put on it, its still there.
  15. Looks to me like a stupid hillbilly built that ZJ. Elevated coil buckets, really?

  17. Lets go right now!
  18. I'd say don't put any fluid in it. Then when your rear end goes, you can replace it with a better one. And with the money you saved on not changing the fliud, you'll already have a start to your new axle fund.
  19. We did? Sorry I didnt realize that. I'll try to step up my game.

  22. OK Willy, calm down! Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, for your viewing pleasure.......... My bolted up bumper!! The drivers side is a little crooked, but I can live with it. If you notice the 4x4 emblem is gone. It fell off when I was doing some body work "dirtycomanche style", with a hammer. Its just got 6 factory bolts holding it up right now, I will be adding crush sleeves through the frame here shortly. (Don't worry, I won't be using it to remove stumps until its properly bolted up. I am pretty happy with how it looks on the truck. There you have it. Now, let the compliments ensue.
  23. I wanna go! Can I come??
