  1. All done with it. Scrapper gave me $88.90 for a cut up empty XJ shell. Ever hear of the Darwin Awards?
  2. The steering will work, however you'll have to ream out the pitman arm to accept the larger waggy tierod end. I ran a waggy 44 in the front of my MJ. You don't need the steering box.
  3. Get pneumatic actuators for the OX lockers or go with an ARB. Everyone I've talked to has cable issues with the OX.
  4. What have they done for me? They've kicked me out, twice.
  5. AX-15
  6. Any fabric or carpet store will have something similar to lay under your carpet. It's pretty cheap too.
  7. How do you get into the bed in the pop-up?
  8. In an area where it rains 300 days out of the year, its a very popular modification.
  9. A buddy and I went halves on it. She's not much to look at, but the list of parts on this thing is incredible. Tera 4-Low with SYE Dana 44 Rear with spool and 30 front with ARB and Alloy shafts 4:10s 33" Wildcats on 15x10 Optima Red top CB Ramsey 5000 pound winch Rock Rails 4" tomken Coils Unknown brand rear leaf pack RE superflex trackbar and bracket RE tie rod There's a ton more too. Picked it up for $1600. The plan of attack is to completely part it out in ~7 days split the goodies, and sell what we don't want to recoup some money.
  10. Try pushing in the clutch, grabbing the shifter, while in neutral (the middle) move it all the way to the right (passenger side), then down (towards the back of the truck) then slowly release the clutch while giving it light throttle. That usually works for me.
  11. Oh, I almost forgot. Lets see some more pics, like exterior shots and the bed. What kind of milage can you pull with this thing?
  12. I honestly really like this thing. I love how functional it is for its size. You've done some pretty cool things to it too, sticking with the premise of the vehicle, while making some very smart and functional upgrades. Well done, I'm proud of you Sam. I'm going to add one of these to my "vehicles to get" list. I'm even going to model my build after yours and I'll name it "Sir Sam". (Mine will be better though, just so you know.)
  13. That's so lame. You should have put in on a hinge, so you could flip it to access the winch. With a spring so it stays in place. Made out of polished stainless or aluminum.
  14. I'm glad you're not gone, I was getting worried.

    RTI ramp

I went on the ramp yesterday too: 515, stock. Ben: He got 251
  16. I took like 20 pictures and half of them are of you. Damn I wish I had an MJ. But it was a good time and it was nice to meet you. Ben aka mulipurposemj: My junk:
  17. Nice Job. That is an amazing looking truck.

    BBQ

I'll be there, with a truck-load of Keystone.
  19. Do you listen to Bubba?
  20. Oh damn! I'd buy it for that. It's ok though, all the cool kids sell their badass MJ's anyway. Peace out. :wavey:
  21. Congratulations CW. You've done such a great job documenting your build (Take notes kids). I feel like I know that rig inside and out, and I've never even seen it.
  22. Wasn't there a group buy here that went badly?
  23. Washington DNR cut this stupid hillbilly a deal, he had to make a PSA for YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmXGe9FBCE8 The death metal music the state choose is darn hilarious too.
  24. Armor it up first thing. Everything else is an easy fix compared to trying to fix unibody damage.
