Thanks for the heads-up, I've been watching many of Ron Covell's vids and I'm aware of the welding tip. Wish I knew how to tig, all I have is a mig. What I want to accomplish with the wheel is to make left and right filler panels for the tail lights, so far I've not seen anyone attempt to produce a panel with the correct compound radius, the panel will be welded in, if I can get it 95% correct I can make up the 5% with Bondo. I have new tail lights that will be frenched in. Most of my work is custom, I'm pretty good at doing something once and never having a desire to do it again. If I am successful with the tail lights I might give a shot at a hood scoop, we see. Otherwise the wheel will be sold off after this, yeah, it's a cheap one but it just needs to get me through the light panels.

Don't know what files you uploaded but they don't come up as an image chances are you referring to the oil pressure switch or sensor just to the right of the distributor just below the spark plugs correct if so that's a little pressure and you'll need the a little elbow adapter -
What I'm reading into this is that he wants to move his desktop onto his tablet. He can upload his files one time and view the files from any devise anywhere in the world........it's a different way of thinking, the devise is nothing more than a window to view from. Generational thing I suppose.

You're asking a tablet to manage/store a metric $#!&-ton of information. If you can make it work.......more power to ya.

Wife has a Tab A, I have the equivalent of- ATTs version of the Tab E. I just asked the wife and the son, both said they don't' think what he wants to do is possible from a tablet. It's not how we use them ourselves. OP, you need a laptop. Enabled, he'll need data. I don't jump on anyone's wifi myself, I want my own data.

This isn't what I wanted but it's a place to start, I guess. At least I have something to work with now. I think I'm going to try making a vid on this, we'll see how that goes.

Yes the alternator can go there it doesn't matter it's a direct link to the battery The green wires with your question marks on them will be your fused links the supply electricity to everything else -

Dealer readers cost $10-12K and cost about $1K to update annually. A dealer may have 12 techs and 2 readers, apparently it's a common complaint that there is always someone waiting on a reader. I would love to have one myself, I don't know anyone who has a deep reader that I can get my hands on. Some time ago I found one that looked interesting for about $400, tablet style and is bluetooth, was not tethered to the dash, for the life of me I cannot remember the brand and I cannot find it again. Spending $400 to $500 on a tool is a major investment for me. A cheap reader that reads beyond OBDII may give you a generic wheel sensor code but if it cannot narrow it down to a specific wheel, give values (data) in real time, what good is it? If it cannot register or 'marry' sensors and modules, what good is it? You're off to the dealer anyway. And when you will be spending $500 to $1500 for a sensor or module.........you had better know what you're doing because the dealer is not going to warranty your mistake. One of these days I'll buy one. For certain the next generation of hot rodders..........a laptop will be their first tool. -

Anyway, just put the container/bucket in the corner of the garage for a month and the fluid will evaporate, then toss the bucket in the trash, that's what I did. -
If you're swapping to the '97 you are swapping everything, everything means everything, so it really doesn't matter.
