Where are you getting your temp readings from? -
I suspect one has a pilot bearing installed and the other does not. You are over $2K ..........guessing there is a core charge also? Screw that.

If he does not have what you need, I do..........or maybe I do. This is my listing. https://www.ebay.com/itm/283397421263 -
If you actually to looking for one you'll find the choices very limited for a mid-size box, this is probably why he's asking. I have a very nice DeeZee gullwing box in black that is fairly new for sale........if you were closer. $200

Factory 2.5/aw4 nightmares.

So you got a TPS for the 4.0, what was the trans doing or not doing that makes you think the TPS was not recognized? I'm not sure that the TPS is any different one from another. The only think I can think of what would be different is the shift points, and the bell bolt pattern, otherwise the TCU should be the same and should recognize the TPS. What was the engine doing? Aftermarket sensors suck, period. So, if the Mopar TPS works, it works because Mopar sensors work. You will also want to find a Mopar CPS. What was the difference between the 2.5 and 4.0 TC? The 2.5 should have a higher stall speed. The fact that you found a Volvo TC to work is not at all surprising, there may be others. If there are three TPS, now two..........consider yourself fortunate.......maybe you should buy another. You'll never find another flex plate either, protect the one you have. Parts are scarce. -
Customish Clock Panels

Scroll through my build thread. If you have any specific questions let me know, I have something to say about the wiring but it may not apply. -
Sure, I think so.

Customish Clock Panels
Jeep Driver replied to SatiricalHen's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
No, you do for yourself, if others want to go along for the ride......then fine, but don't count on it. The only thing that would hold me back is the quality of 3D printed parts.......show me quality. -
Customish Clock Panels
Jeep Driver replied to SatiricalHen's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I made my own. I'd suggest you make all three panels.......hell, make a gauge panel while you're at it, a blank. I think it's a great idea, if you have the means, do it. If you are looking for a market-? Be ingenious and create something unique. The three small panels are useless anyway. The only problem you'll have if finding customers who are ambitious. -
If it were me, I have considered this myself. Find a COMPETENT machinist, have him turn down the backside of the spacer, have him cut a new recess for the hub, you should be able to retain your existing hub extension and remain hub-centric. You'll need new studs 1/2 inch longer. You'll need a press and a fixture/anvil.
-
Are yours hub-centric?
-
Yes I did. Automotive wise this is the most challenging undertaking I've attempted. Those panels are curved, the radius is curved.......what a b*@ch...... Considering I've never done anything like this, I think it's turning out OK. I've got to cut in for the frenching buckets now........thank god for Bondo.
