  1. That $#!& ain't happin' here.
  2. I would have just swapped a later D30.......but that's just me.
  3. Is not the snout on the 8.25 longer? will he not have to shorten his drive shaft?
  4. Hang around Hornbrod and me and you'll be exposed to many myth busting things. I'll bust a myth........ That you can actually index the distributor on a 2.5.........no can do. Pulled mine out tonight.........distributor is fixed.....rotor at 6 Oclock......that's it.
  5. Yeah, so my next question is.......>Do you want heat all the time?
  6. I have the flu and I'm somewhat delusional.........but WTF?
  7. You no longer want a heater?
  8. I got mine at the junk yard........$28.......IIRC Dime a dozen round here
  9. Those are half the price of the JKS, do you recommend those?
  10. $12 at Advance. There is a button on the underside that you push to relieve the pull/knob.........it simply pulls out. Behind that is a nut........>IIRC
  11. Have you got a heater control valve? is it working?
  12. Why are your doors a shade off? Wheels are cool, where did they come from?
  13. What's the issue? I see a photo with no explanation of what problem it's supposed to be showing. The lower end of that arm goes to a bellcrank on the frame rail. That bellcrank pivot gets rusted up or gooked up and doesn't rotate freeley. That's the most common problem with the Renix throttle linkage, and the cure is usually to shoot it with PB Blaster and work it manually until it rotates freely. His plastic ball end no longer stayed on the ball. Ball ends are not free, ingenuity is even more expensive, I suppose.
  14. Use the HB to size it. I agree..........that's what I'd do.
  15. Is the difference the thickness of the slinger? Can you put it back on?
  16. 1 ton springs in the rear and Grand V8 springs in the front????
  17. Nova cranks? http://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/MC/14225-07016869.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=ff&utm_content=MC&utm_campaign=PartsGeek+Google+Base&utm_term=1970-1979+Chevrolet+Nova+Window+Crank+Handle+Dorman+70-79+Chevrolet+Window+Crank+Handle+1974+1971&gclid=CLzV8qqF-rsCFSho7AodIXMAow
  18. I looked at an MJ some time back that had an early 90s Camaro exhaust on it, sounded and looked real good. These are on CL for $85, for someone looking for a custom exhaust set up......pretty cheap. 2013 Mustang take offs......new, listed for $60, can't buy the chrome tips for that.
  19. The lower ear of that yoke in the pic is missing a portion of it, that has to be putting a lot of pressure on the strap. I suspect that a previous owner drilled a tapped the bolt due to a broken bolt.....IOWs the same thing happened before.......and has now happened again. That is why I stated it's wasted. He can simply install a longer bolt and put a nut on the backside of the yoke if he wants to go at it again.......however, next time it may be at 70mph when it let's go..... again. Not me.
  20. According to your pic......your yoke is wasted. Get a new yoke, not a new bolt.
  21. Exhaust, engine mounts, radiator, shorten drive shaft, move x-member. I assume it's carbureted?
