  1. Regardless of the one in question...........I do not care one way or the other.............. It's not so simple as to call BS at the thought of an AMC vehicle coming from Japan. Do a little reading- https://www.flickr.com/photos/hugo90/43905683272 And you'll find supporting articles- http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/showthread.php?t=103136
  2. Generally speaking, I don't like 'Jeep people', I don't wave, regardless. Just this last weekend, I took this pic to send to my brother. Typical of Jeep people. No reason for this other than to make a nuisance of himself.
  3. This is the back road wave around here to anyone passing. Old timers would sit on their porch and wave to passersby when I first moved here, they've mostly died off now. My locale has become the S---hole I left 12 years ago.
  4. https://www.openshot.org/ This is what I have used. Says you can strip audio and lay down new track.
  5. There are two metal clips, one on each side with hold it in place until you get the visors on and the rest of the interior panels. BTW- My ebay link the the group buy deal.......same supplier.

  7. If you need instructions, you are likely not the one who should be replacing the hinges.
  8. Good for you. Now, how does it ride?

  10. Is that a poly bushing? You need to grease it anyway.
  11. You'll never appreciate what you have until you no longer have it. I have much to say about this subject but I'll keep it short. Exploit your talent and knowledge. I assume you're in your thirties with a home and a couple of mouths to feed? First thing is first......everything else just doesn't matter. Realtor- My mother was a realtor from the mid 70s through the 90s, until her license got in the way of investing in real estate. She and her brother were flipping houses before Flippers were Flippers. I painted my first house at 14 and I've been building or remodeling ever since. I've been self-employed in one capacity or another for 40 years now. I have no idea where my next check is going to come from.......it's a way of life. You need to have a serious talk with yourself and your wife.........people who are self-employed are driven to be self-employed, we don't talk about it, we don't ask other's opinions about it.......we just do it.
  12. In my case- I have two problems to overcome. My current sender causes my Speedhut gauge to wander. I plugged in the new sender and gauge does not wander, old sender is worn out. This never happened with the stock fuel gauge, I'm assuming the Speedhut is far more sensitive than the stock gauge. Speedhut gauge if fully programmable, what sender I use is irrelevant. Secondly, I need 45psi with enough volume to feed a SBC. If I use only the stock tank and external pump- Aeromotive, I'll be looking at about $700 for pump and regulator. Beyond $1000 for the pump if I go brushless. Since I won't be driving over tree stumps......bottom of tank bulkhead fitting is not out the realm of solutions. Another possible solution, maybe most viable- https://www.summitracing.com/parts/hpf-49115/overview/ Since my bed will see nothing more than a couple of suit cases and a cooler.....spare tire and jack........under a tonneau cover. I'm considering a fuel cell mounted behind the cab, modern in-tank pump and sender. Then use my existing tank as a secondary with the existing pump as a transfer pump to the fuel cell. This will also give me more than 30 gallons. Fittings, braided steel hose, regulator........I'll still be in the $1000 to $1200 neighborhood. You are right, whatever the solution, it's expensive. But you have to be prepared to leave the Tribe........I walked away long ago.
  13. BTW, Tubing is 3/8 OD........look to something like a 70 Chevelle of Nova or Impalla for a sock. I searched some time back and I cannot remember which one.......but standard for GM. Edit: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/opg-ch28638?seid=srese1&gclid=CjwKCAiAo7HwBRBKEiwAvC_Q8ZqznwPm5z37amB1bnQsLofnXdZ5Vp6pESJJOKbgd_YOOGSf5_bT9xoCqcIQAvD_BwE
  14. You guys are reinventing the wheel, again. These are still available new, OEM NOS, I have mine.
  15. Check every one of your fused links. You need a test light.
  16. Sorry, it sold.
  17. ebay
  18. The ECU is not receiving a signal from the CPS or something similar Maybe it's not recognizing the ignition control module whatever it is that is the reason why you were getting no fuel The only reason you would jump the fuel pump relay is to test the balance of the circuit but you cannot leave it like that Not getting a fuel pump response is a indicator that you've got another problem
  19. The antenna wire is 2 pieces, there is a connection at the passenger kick, check that connection.
  20. Well, I wasn't correcting you. Mainly making a statement to the 2.5 guys, they need to know and understand THEIR engine.
  21. In the intake of the 2.5..........fuel wash, whereas the 4.0 has no fuel wash. Also, the 2.5 has a heated intake whereas the 4.0 does not. Considerable difference in air temps. Just pointing that out. Everyone here keeps comparing the apples to the oranges.
  22. Not illegal, technically nor otherwise. What is illegal is defrauding a buyer. If you are not attempting to defraud anyone .......there is no crime. Further, I suspect in most states, as is in TN, a 30 year old vehicle is 'mileage exempt' anyway. https://www.odo-pro.com/digital-mileage-correction.html?gclid=CjwKCAiAuqHwBRAQEiwAD-zr3ZO-0NjNndf-gSJIkxc4HBRhLNWmkYyNMY6-xlxkbmDORKeZs2hLIhoC_W0QAvD_BwE Odometer Programming - $89 We can program odometers on most gauge clusters and modules from 1992-2019. We have over 10 years of experience and we only use the best equipment and the latest software to ensure a quick, quality job! The gauge cluster is one of the most complicated and delicate pieces of electronics in a vehicle having a multitude of gauges, displays and circuits. This combination of moving parts, displays and circuitry makes it a common point of failure in vehicles. It is also susceptible to fire and flood damage and theft. Repair or Cloning: If you have a faulty or damaged gauge cluster, we always recommend trying to repair the original as a first option. We have repair services available for a multitude of gauge clusters HERE. If the unit cannot be repaired, the next best option is to clone a replacement cluster from the original. We can clone most clusters even in cases of flood or fire damage, but the part number of the replacement would need to be identical to the original. We have a cloning service available HERE. Programming: If the original unit is unrepairable and cloning is not an option either because a replacement unit of the same part number is not available or the original unit is no longer present, then programming it to reflect the true mileage of the vehicle is the next best option. However, there a few thing to know before proceeding with programming: Legal: Programming the odometer on a part to match the true mileage of the vehicle is legal, as long you are not misrepresenting the true mileage of the vehicle. Here are a couple helpful links to information that will help you understand U.S. odometer laws regarding service and sale of vehicles: U.S. Code 49 U.S. Code § 32704. Service, repair, and replacement https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/49/32704 U.S. Code 49 U.S. Code § 32705. Disclosure requirements on transfer of motor vehicles https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/49/32705 Please read carefully and understand U.S. Code 49 U.S. Code § 32705.
