  1. Eagle, You are correct about all the past photos. And I recall Facebook making changes once or twice that caused image hosting links to go bad. BUT, contracting for a photo host for the Comanche Club could eliminate the issue in the future. Simply trying to make a proactive suggestion that MAY prevent these issues in the future. And I am willing to kick in some money to help out. How do you propose 300-400 people having access to one account? Gatekeeper? you wan that job? And what if you decide my pic is not relevant or ???? It's up to you/us individually to manage your/our own pics. As I stated in the other thread, john92131.com is surely available.
  2. My experience with coils, coil packs, when they go, they are gone. My guess is CPS.
  3. I don't think it matters, guys unplug their TCU and the engines run fine.
  4. Your engine should run just fine without the aw4 wiring. But I don't see how you are going to get away without swapping the interior harness, 2.5 ECU is different from the 4.0.
  5. You should have a typical Delco CS130 alt, GM. You actually have more options than the HO guys...........you may have to reclock one, but that's easy. I used a '86 Capice alt, 105 amps, before I got the Powermaster, which I highly recommend. I have the 2.5 which uses the small case, you should have the larger case......again, more options.
  6. After the body work, paint, bed liner, tonneau cover..........spare in the back. The only thing my truck will ever haul again, is @$$. :P Now that I think of it, there has never been a spare there.
  7. Yes, you are right. BUT it is more fun when you discover the cable has broken and your spare fell off somewhere down the road and it is just not there. Fortunately for me, my winch cable broke while the truck was parked in front of my garage. I discovered the spare just sitting there when I got back home form a quick trip to Costco.
  8. That would be fun to fiddle with at 3AM on your back in the mud. :shake:
  9. I vaguely remember this guys original thread, but he explains it here- Sometimes, that is all that is left to do.
  10. Ask neohic to send you a pic of his radiator, you'll basically have to do the same. He has a pic here..........but...............as with the rest of the PB losses.............
  11. You'll have to push it forward. The cores measure exactly the same for square inch of cooling, it should work.
  12. Blower motor resistor, does the fan work in the high speed position?
  13. Renix temp sensors are still available from the dealer, I just bought one, $25. Not worth the effort of testing..........I'm suspicious of all the science projects round here anyway. :P
  14. You all are free to create your own website, host your own photos. I owned/created two websites, gripsnstocks.com and jeepseekers.com The idea behind jeepseekers was to have a Jeep specific trading source, below is a vid ad that I did for someone here. I thought it was a good idea, apparently, no one else did. Plenty of hosting sites out there, I used Hyperstreet...............godaddy sucks @$$. Use your name, joeblow.com -I think I was paying about $17 per mouth.
  15. Here, this will fit, and kicks @$$. http://www.speedhut.com/ecommerce/product/2285/Legends---Icon---6-in-1-Cluster-(Black-dial-with-White-font,-Chrome-Blade-White-Pointer)
  16. 3/4 clusters were mostly complete gauge set, minus tach. Still had a large fuel gauge. Yeah, I figured that out now. Why? Who can live without a tach?>
  17. Very cool pic of your truck!
  18. Headliner! Visors are MJ specific. Looks line a tilt column shift column..........there is someone here who wants one.
  19. Seat brackets, interior plastics, mini console.
  20. BUMMER. Is the sending unit compatible with FI? '86 sending units are still available, NOS
  21. It's a southern thing, you wouldn't understand. ;)
  22. There is nothing that fits. I've seen hack jobs, if you want a hack job. And there is this- https://intellitronix.com/products/digital-gauges?cat=6 I've seen mixed reviews on the create-a-dash. I've yet to see any MJ/XJ owner put $400 to $800 into a dash.
