What accessory drive are you using? AC delete? do you plan on AC? Probably too late now.........but you can successfully run duals out, X at the crossmember. -
I now have my keyless ignition and my steering wheel. My column is straight, no tilt. I know where there is a very nice tilt column. Tilt is a little loose but the entire column has to come apart anyway. The real advantage to getting a replacement column is that I can leave mine in the truck so I can move the truck while I'm gutting and modifying and painting the replacement. Those of you who have tilt, is there anything about tilt you just can't live without? pros? cons? Thanks

Wish things were as they were.

Somebody needs to grab that.

You're about to open a can of worms........:P I inherited some of my uncle's Snapon, they will not warranty, not by truck, not by mail. I just threw away a dead-blow hammer that broke. Without receipt you're screwed. They won't get any of my money.

Pics are not showing. What I wanted to see was the quality of the bell. All they show is a black and white pic that barely shows any detail. This is the reason that I dismisses AA all together. -
The NOS ones marked Siemens are the original Bendix/Renix parts. Just so you know. Not saying these are bad.

Overall the condition is very good, no scratches or dings or wear. The chrome may not be as good as I thought now that I look at it. I was saving this for myself but if you or someone else wants it, I'll let it go. It's just dirty from sitting in the garage, needs to be cleaned.

I love the smell of real leather.

Do you have any pics of the assembly? How is the slave mounted? What fork and TOB? I've looked into the AA bell, can't find any good pics of it. Novak seemed to be the way to go.........but............I'd like to see what you got. -
I'll try to get a pic tomorrow.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/282845143517?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649 I just listed this one. I have one with chrome also that is just as nice if not moreso, I'd rate the chrome at 85%.

Interesting, so even with the GM bell and the adapter the trans is 1" forward. That's what I needed to know. -
Header gussets maybe?

Quality to begin with or cheap every 5 years. Just my opinion. -
Better cooling for the Comanche?
Jeep Driver replied to johnj92131's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
If you are towing 5K there is a greater chance that your trans is heating your engine, not your engine heating your trans. -
Precisely.

2.5 block interchange years?
Jeep Driver replied to Green Mesa XJ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Last thing here- The snout on Renix cranks are longer. You can us a later crank with a Renix as I have done but you cannot use a Renix crank with the later accessories. Later accessories are closer to the block. -

Blocks and heads are all the same. Later heads may or may not have the temp sender in the back, those can be drilled at tapped. -

BTW, I've got a perfectly good 2.5 block and many other parts that I cannot even give away. If you were closer......... -

Every year is exactly the same with the exception of the fuel pump mount, later models are not milled out. And, IIRC, the 84 models had 7/16 head bolts and all others had 1/2 -
It's done everyday. I've never heard of an actual case of fraud ever being prosecuted. New gauges/speedo/clusters are available, I'll be installing one this year myself.
