  1. Sounds rockin' man
  2. maybe if the weenies that chipped a truck with 600ft/lb of torque backed it with a REAL tranny, they wouldn't implode so easily. Ive yet to see a Cummy chipped Dodge kill a stickshift tranny. Melts tires left right and centre though.
  3. maybe Ramsey found a market outside the US at that time? They're fairly common up here.
  4. JeepKings.ca is helpful too for finding parts and wrenching help. Its mostly Ontario folks with majority of them from the GTA or outlying areas.
  5. I'm up in Belleville, near Kingston.
  6. I do that to her and she does that to my jeep, fair trade.
  7. hey man, no blaming this on me. I found the second link on IFSJA.
  8. running boards rot rockers? I had a set of Mr Runningboard runners on on my manche when I first got it, they SAVED the rockers, as they went from front Wheelwell to rear one. The mounted underneath though, so the rockers sat above them. Rockers ____/ | | | _______ <----- Running board
  9. yeah man, J truck. its from the best years. Floater 60 rear, T-18's have a nice loooow first gear, Dana 20's are nearly indestrucable, it looks to be in great shape, and its not expensive like every flea-bay'ed rusted j or wag
  10. Pete, more like 2800 were built. Ive seen a few, lots at Pearson Int'l in Toronto
  11. CJ-4's are another, much like the Agrijeeps. DRW anything is a rarity. 327 Waggies and J trucks. Dauntless v6 CJ-5's J-100 Panel Wagoneers 4door Cherokees (SJ chero's) CJ-6's with the F head 134 W-O pickups with BOTH a PTO winch (Ramsey 8k) and Klune Overdrive. Very rare, Very desirable. I almost got my hands on one this summer. It needed a floor, bed floor, tailgate, was dented to hell and barely ran, still booked at well over 10k.
  12. well the Pygmy prototype is THE rarest, as there are no documented samples left. The CJ2a AgriJeeps. 3 known to exist. 2 run and are complete.

  14. yeah, my 89 XJ has a BA-10/5 with 390,000 Kilometers on it. A little effort for 1-2 shifting but the rest is perfecto. They are like any other piece of equipment. Abuse it and it won't last.
  15. AFAIK the Renix computer doesnt hold much useful info after key-off. It relearns upon key-on-start, thats why it takes longer for RENIX rigs to start, its relearning everything.
  16. if its pirated then get your wife to double check with her that it acctually WORKS on her comp back in Chile. Sometimes the encryption stuff will just make your machine brick itself if it tries to run a pirate program.
  17. For any game with heavy graphics, you'll need atleast a 128mb video card, nowadays, something that size is already intergrated into the motherboard. Anything you buy, unless homebuilt, will have Vista. Games + Vista = 1gb RAM at the minimum. So, around 2-3 gHz, an Intel Core Duo would be nice, decent price but lots of cahoneys uunder the hood. Should, without a major fight, be able to get the tower alone, not with a bundle of monitor and such. If you can grab a computer with a 256mb graphics card, you should be set for a while. My acer laptop, which can play games as new as GTA-San Andreas without a problem, Is a 1.6gHz Celeron Mobile, 512mb DDR2 RAM, 70gig harddrive and has a 128mb card intergrated into the board. Cost me $512 after taxes up here in Can-eh-da. The thing is a tank too.
  18. yeah.. even where I live, an hour'half north of Rochester as the crow flies, we can get to -20-30 celcius. but its around -5 cel. with the windchill right now
  19. We dealt with Ceberus at Autosystems. If they were going to unload Heep, they would've already. You don't win buyers with the same old junk. Thats my standpoint. I think this may help ALOT. an HD pickup for Joe Worker that can acctually do its job and do it well.
  20. no clue, but I'm pretty sure its a for sure deal. We were making headlights at my last job for Liberty/Truck (thats what the package label read) sounds like it should be on my wishlist for xmas of '09 :D
  21. wtf is that? a hole in the block of the 3800?
  22. 1987 to 1994/5 when the 'rounder' Rams and Dak's came out. is the years question answered. they arent as uncommon as you think. I know of a few up here, but all really high mileage.
  23. I have maybe bought 4 things from Napa that were made overseas. Most are US, CA and Mex.
  24. the pass. side front shaft is acctually 2. There is a shorter shaft that has a collar on it, there is a vaccum operated shift fork that slides the collar to connect both shafts, and give you 4x4. Theory is that with an unlocked front diff, the inside shaft spins
