  1. That looks amazing! this is added to my things to do list now
  2. if only i had the money, I would love to get behind the wheel of one lol
  3. Needed to save some money, it has a lower payment, and the gas will be cheaper. :ack: This is just a slight delay till i can get into a SRT. :driving: On the plus side it has very good pickup and go, the brakes work very well, and it has more features than the charger had.
  4. Well I sold my Dodge charger and bought a loaded 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid.... Currently it is raining and dark otherwise there would be more pics. but here is the one and only i currently have. I bid my Charger fare well, it will be missed dearly.
  5. If I had the time and money to drive out to you to get it, I would. But sadly I have little of both. So, I'm accepting donations for my jeep ;) lol
  6. So because it is a sensor, can it be hooked up to an aftermarket gauge or would i need an aftermarket sensor as well? currently for temperature i am using the factory renix sensors. I have a 97+ thermostat housing with a sensor acting as a plug. I was wanting to use it now as aux temperature sensor, or if available find a temperature switch that will work with the housing for the aux fan.
  7. 1) I do not know if this is you answer but the return hose you mention is mounted higher than it is for stock....is it possible you are pinching it off when you close the hood and not allowing it to function right? 2) Where did you get the rad cap with the gauge in it.? 1) I don't think it is getting pinched off, but i will check again before i leave work. 2) Here is the link: Super cool thermostat cap thing with a temperature gauge built in heck ya!
  8. as the title states i have a couple of noobish questions. First: How does the IAC work? More precisely how can it be overridden? Is it controlled via varying voltage or ohms? Second: is the sensor on the 97+ 4.0 thermostat housings a temperature sender, switch, or both? thanks,
  9. I converted to open some time last year and haven't had an issue till today. I parked the truck walked into work to unlock the front door then noticed coolant spewing from the front of my Jeep (leaking from the Radiator cap). it started after sitting with the engine off for a min. correct me if i wrong but isn't the tube from the top of the filler neck running to overflow bottle meant to catch that stuff? The thermostat on the cap was reading a temp around 220 - 240 (I was not paying attention to the temp but remember it was in the "red" zone on the cap.) I flipped on the e-fan and it cooled down quickly and stopped spewing from the cap. (the pic below is for reference of the hose to the overflow tank, not a pic of my issue today) Sorry I don't mean to hijack the thread, just venting my own cooling issues....
  10. People complain that I watermark every image I post.(I know they want to post it elsewhere.) Honestly, people who cover up their license plate usually do so thinking it will prevent others from looking up their home address. The unique forum/social media name people use is enough for me to find a home address for most people. How do you watermark an image? Photoshop, Google Picasa, are a couple pc based programs. some Picture host sites will allow you to edit and add watermarks online such as the one i use now, Flickr. I get 1TB free picture storage or unlimited with the Pro plan.
  11.
  12. How much did you spend at the store to get that much of a discount?
  13. Can you post a copy of the instructions they sent?
  14. I got a bunch of stuff for the kitchen. Cast iron grill, 11 piece Ceramic coated cooking set, little yellow duck tea infuser, 2 baking sheets, cooling rack, electric water pot. other items include: crescent wrench roll up case, super soft blanket, M-16 styled BBQ lighter, big book of tea from around the world (contains 80 bags of tea), Salt lamp, and a green wedding planner..... (I think my girlfriend's mother is hinting something not sure what... lol) that last item was also the center of joke making and confusion for my family. Half where joking i was getting married the other half thought i actually was. Not just yet, but she is the one lol
  15. 1.98 per gallon in Grand Bay, AL
  16. Last time i checked the lowest prices around here where 2.25, but the "local news" expects gas to drop below the $2 mark this week... Why is it when i decide to sell the Charger that the gas prices plummet making 93 more affordable....
  17. Never had any issues with u-haul car haulers and the SWB, don't see an issue with the LWB
  18. :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: ......You Just Did....... :dunno: I missed that..... He has both posted a new topic and replied. Trolled..... I just got a much needed laugh out of this lol
  19. seems the price hike was just in time for black friday (Nov 22) http://camelcamelcamel.com/Road-Intake-Snorkel-Jeep-Cherokee/product/B00NCCWPQ0
  20. My 1988 MJ.. It had a super cheap paint job, thus the faded sun burnt paint after a couple years. All I was going for at the time was to protect it from potential rust. When the paint was new As it sits now.
  21. I've never driven a 242 equipped Jeep. What happens when a tire slips? Does the AWD system go crazy? My MJ has a 242 as well, i keep it in Full time all the time. I also have an Aussie locker in the rear D44, no issues as of yet.
  22. Picture links are dead, I will get them fixed here in a bit when i have some time.
