  1. :rotf: doesnt look very smart running it under the body. but then you see the guy that made it.....
  2. that pic was a joke... IMO small trucks have reciever hitches for towing utility trailers with yard watse etc. just cause you can pull a trailer with another rig doesnt mean its safe to or smart, thats what fullsize trucks are for. sure go easy and slow but emergency stops and accidents happen at the worst times
  3. better be shooting them while they are under the truck or I'm not impressed
  4. the bumper pictured above is badass. builder actually took the time to make it flow and look well designed. i might actually pay for a bumper that looked that good
  5. read it twice and still :hmm: anywho, i think a high flow transfer pump would be much better than using a fuel pump. and also, since you want to fill PORTABLE contaners your idea doesnt make much sense.
  6. put in a new CB, didnt help my SWR readings, new 4' tunable antenna-still didnt help much. realized my readings went from good when the cb was on the passanger seat then all wacky when it was mounted behind the center console. guess ill be drilling more holes and mounting it on the side of the console :ack:
  7. bought some corbeau sliders, masterpull recovery rope, and 3/8"x100' superline. i love ebay
  8. i replaced upper/lower ball joints on my 96 xj 3 years ago. took 3-4hrs if i rember right, but total cost was less than $100. i just used the free rental at schucks since i bought the joints there. to me $400 is more than i would want to pay, but you know your abilitys and tools you have to finish the project if you run into problems.
  9. have you checked ball joints?
  10. waste of $$. had them in my turbo coupe t-bird and my 96 xj and noticed nothing. I'm a believer of the el cheapo champion etc, just replace them every other oil change
  11. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=27753
  12. G2 has a drain, solid does not. paid $99 for mine at 4 wheel parts a few months ago. everybody has their own want/needs. for now, when i plan on adding a new diff cover it won't be aluminum, it will be a beefy steel unit
  13. i bought the g2 for my 30, within 2 months the stupid sticker fell off. this is my vote, but id spring for the drain/counter sunk holes. or ARB http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/D30COV.html http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/D44COV.html
  14. since when did a dana 35 have a ujoint on the shaft :D dana 35 has 27 splines (edit) non-clip 90-, C-clip 90+ mj/xj 44 has 30 splines jim, if you want to post the splines, min. dia etc maybe i can browse thru my diff book and get an idea
  15. why not a wood stove? seems like a large area, concrete floors, and baseboards would take forever to get a little heat, not to mention the eletricity bill
  16. ......as posted above....... http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=789713 ;)
  17. finally inflated the tires from 10 psi to 35. too lazy since my snow trip two days ago
  18. thats cool  anxiouse to see it painted and installed i was going between the wild one, and this one i had him do a rendering of Image Not Found
  19. i pee outside normally, but when i build my shop I'm definatley putting a Royal Sloan urinal on the wall...

  22. 87 MJ 88 MJ 05 GLI
  23. cool, thank you. just cause i like to ask questions: if i put the postive meter lead (red) to the to the neg termianl, and the neg meter lead to the neg battery terminal would that make reverse polarity, and how would that affect the readings?
