  1. might as well spring for a custom CV shaft, modding a reg will be around half the price. had mine made locally for $380
  2. :shake: sounds like a nice piece of work
  3. ya. i try :D
  4. RLC Fab makes them. normally about 3-4 weeks build time. i had him do a rendering of the 1st bumper in a winch fashion for me but i got impatient and got JCR instead. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=789713
  5. no matter what they are teaching kids in school today, pink is not manly. a certain thing thats "pink" is desirable, but not a vehicle .I'm assuming you'd also be manly enough to enjoy listening to justin beiber in your pink truck tyler?
  6. i have the Cooper STT also, they not to bad for noise or vibration and i drive alot of hwy. when you go to buy: try working in the deal that you get free mount and balance, and free lifetime balancing. before these i had procomp extreme mud terrains. they had awesome traction, espically wet pavement but they are too soft of rubber compund to last for a reasonable amout of time
  7. you have a girly truck......... thanks for the skills 87warrior
  8. the mj is alot lower and better aerodynamics then that lifted xj with a roof rack, and has WAY lighter tires/wheels for rotational mass. i think i weighted my cooper 33" in at 90-100lbs each ( i have a horrible memory) the xj looks pretty good
  9. if it is a zj motor check the brackets. late 98 they changed how the block mounts are located. mine has a late 98-early 99 zj block and on the passanger side one bolt was holding it on with a TJ motor mount bracket lol nice score, id love a 91-92
  10. Image Not Found Image Not Found guess I'm more of a killer than builder, spare mj is on its way to looking like the other 2 rigs lol
  11. you just buying the corbeau seat adapters?
  12. how much off, 15-25%? or is it for sale not on sale :D
  13. whatever happened? you install the moabs?
  14. get a new hobby. a buddy is doing FS axles, uncut and fabbing his own brackets links etc. after lockers and all the goodies he said hell be in the axles a little over $4k
  15. also just got a set of Corbeau GTS II
  16. in that pic? i see no snow... look harder......... ok ok you got me. at first it was just going to be a winter rig, but I'm still kinda young and dumb so the GLI will get me in trouble. so i choose to let the car sit and rack the miles up on the mj, plus i don't have to worry about getting door dinged. last time I'm filled up the car it got 29 mpg, filled up the mj and got 12.5 :fs1:
  17. just picked up some 5125s for the front
  18. can we get this thread moved :dunno: :rotf:
  19. id love to buy that rear fairing....
  20. :agree: thats cool
  21. hahaha
  22. its about time you got some good tires on there. wheels look good also
  23. the one in tacoma was gone but they told me there was another in bremerton. so i did a little road trip to encourage the bi**ching and moaning of the $$ Mopar kit was $5500 then they added horrible Toyo's. this is the base model without lockers etc. poking around it i noticed it has "T -tops" which is pretty cool. i wouldnt mind finding a damaged jk for fairly cheap and making one of these. horrible job on the wheel well seems
  24. i like the look of the TJ's more than the JK's but that 3-4" lip on the door sill of the TJ would get old fast, espically once its lifted. jumped in a tj with 4" lift and 33" and boy did that suck. hey, atleast for 55k it comes with a warranty :D maybe tomorrow ill go down and take some better pics
  25. comparing that to a real truck is fairly pointless, look at the size of the bed. is it $55k cool, ya but i don't have quite that much laying around. i think AEV sells the kit or similar for 8k or so. I'm sure everybody knows this is a badass toy, not a functional "truck"
