    HORNBROD!

the wheels and rear fairing are
  2. I'm tired of mine and don't love it anymore. bad gas mpg, and still needs lots of attention after dumping quite a bit of $$$ into it. been eyeballing some s-10 extremes lately edit: maybe for the back sugery think look into BFC- bone flesh and cartladge. its at healt nut stores, but has healed my broken ankle and arm in half the time the doctors said i would heal.
  3. "Like" retracted. Naw, I'm kiddin'. The other girl's only winning because she's all "look at me" on top of the rig. i had to go look.. she got my like because of the chick in the daisy dukes and cowgirl hat in the background, and her rig was better

    suzuki samurai

my old one. 1.6 or whatever stock motor is, header, webber carb, exhaust, 4.1 gears in tcase, locked in the rear, think it had 4.11 gears on 31"s. drove the truck for 2 days then put it back up for sale. completley guttless, carb's so it would spit and sputter on inclines, Very narrow/short wheelbase and almost rolled it on a simple down hill section. it i were to get another it would be a tin top with either a jetta TDI or sidekick fuel injected motor, stretch the wheel base and add wider axles, but at that point why not get a TJ
  5. didnt click, since it was a Christmas run the bow should have been red. and i couldnt tell if she was cute or not..
  6. are you really suprised? its harbor freight, anybody that buys stuff from there and expects it to be quality is a :dunce:
  7. re-adjusted my IPF's, much better now and high beams are great. then played taxi for set89 freshly geared/locked fullsize axles. got my new currie tierod in the mail so tomorrow i will be fixing the toe in
  8. nice work Pete
  9. try checking the bolts that hold the motor mount bracket to the unibody. yesterday had the neighbor turn the wheel back and forth with the rig running and i could see a slight gap between the rail when the wheel was turned passanger side. tightened up both bolts, no more noise
  10. now that i think of it i highly doubt its factory due to the location of the license plate and needing a light for it
  11. wonder if this is a home made deal or a rare factory option? looks fairly clean
  12. is your truck lifted at all/big tires? i have somewhat of the same issue since i got my truck. it clunks/pops on low speed turns but i can feal mine mostly thru the floor. ive put in a different suspension system/steering/trackbar (because i wanted to, not cause I'm chasing the noise) and i still have the damn noise. have you had somebody turn the wheel back and forth while you use a metal rod/your hand to maybe find the noise in the unibody?
  13. when i get around to it ill be making mine out of a stick of angle iron
  14. i would say put in the tj 30. for $100 you can't beat the price, and with having 4.10 I'm guessing your on 31" tires and youll be fine. but its your $$
  15. did you change your speedo gear when you bumped up the tire size? i alwas get worse mpg in the winter due to the crap the put in the fuel. ive been averaging 12-13 on 33"s, an you will get better mpg on the hyw/fwy, just don't expect great mpg goin 70 compared to 55-60
  16. i have to squint too hard to see the pix
  17. the front setup looks like a death trap  but atleast he has traction tires in the rear...
  18. :USAflag:
  19. get some 3/16 or 1/4 plate and some DOM tubing and make your own. thats what i did. jcr has them for like $30 but they are simple enought to make
  20. I'm sure they don't go by lift size because people run different size tires. if you know anybody with a forklift just use that to lift up the corners of your truck. and i would stay away from the cheapo shocks, had procom es9000 on mine then threw on some bilesteine 5125's and noticed quite a nice difference. I'm sure youll want to extend you bumpstops so you don't cave your fenders in or tear up your tires. when its flexed out on the RTI ramp or forklift that would be a good time to measure what youll need.
  21. i was hoping to see something along the lines of the bumper on the green jeep in this thread. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=34047 i like the recessed lights option but IMO bumpers just look cheap/funny that don't wrap around and protect the lower quarters of the bed. just an idea
  22. oh you can leave it at that, ive only heard good things about them. care to go into detail
  23. the doors are the better upgrade in my opnion. i never liked that useless non-wing windows on 96-
