  1. Is that a Comanche? never mind, Cherokee just saw the rear door.
  2. I finished the drawer a week ago but just now had time to open up the WilderNest for pictures. The carcass is approximately 81” long, 25” wide and 16” high, the drawer is 75” long, 15 1/2” wide and 13” high; I made it large enough to hold three of our camping storage boxes with space to spare. The drawer slides on 3/16” thick UHMWPE strips to maximize space. The top, left side, drawer front and rear are 1 1/8” plywood the rest is 3/4” ply assembled with pocket screws (about 200 of them!!) and glue. Everything was given three coats of exterior paint (color matched to the paint I used for the shell interior) to minimize mold/mildew, the top and left side were then covered with tan vinyl diamond plate and edged with stainless steel corner guard since it also serves as the step to the sleeping platform. It’s bolted to the bed using stainless bolts from underneath into t-nuts in the base. The space on the right with the wheel well is perfect for storing the long support poles and stabilizing legs while the space on the left still accommodates the large boxes which were initially intended for the FJ Cruiser’s roof rack, they will even stack with the Nest closed. It was a fun little project.
  3. Too late for that! I think it happened the day I picked up the Comansion.
  4. We have running water!!!
  5. Is this one of the new metal body sensors with 4 wires coming out into three at the connector? I’ve had nothing but problems with those from 3 or 4 “manufacturers”, try to find a NOS Jeep one with the ceramic body. And yes, resistance between A&B should be 5-7 ohms.
  6. The latch should be glued to the sliding portion and it should latch onto the left bar, there is no other bracket. And the sliding portion does not have any sort of frame as in your pictures.
  7. On eBay in Hillsborough, NJ $1500 starting no reserve.
  8. When you get them please post a picture with them next to each other and their numerical codes. Thanks
  9. Everyone sells carpets made by ACC so you probably won’t find any other colors. I know they will send headliner samples, contact them for carpet samples.
  10. June 2023 update, see first post. 17 new additions this month for a total of 2158.
  11. Now you made it easy!
  12. The paint codes say this is sterling metallic??? Doubt it has been repainted since the engine bay is body color and looks aged also seemed odd to have a tan interior with a silver exterior.
  13. Is the build date 8/1/85?
  14. On eBay in Blaine, WA
  15. As I’ve said many times, one of my favorite MJs on here. Thanks for starting a new build thread, looking forward to seeing its progress.
  16. What are they asking (I’m not on FB.)?

    Finally

Nice! Looks much better than the tire leaning on the bumper and what bumper is that?
  19. The glass is in a metal frame, the metal frame is sealed to the body with urethane sealant then the rubber trim piece is applied. Pete meant the glass with frame can be removed, the mounting surfaces cleaned and prepped then the window reinstalled.
  20. Started on the drawer. Got the carcass done, need to paint it, attach the top and build the drawer. Pretty happy with how it’s coming along.
  21. When I had mine Line-Xed there were two prices for short or long bed, additional if you wanted it over the bed rails and extra if you wanted the UV coating. You can email them and they’ll send a quote with all the options.
  22. Use 3M automotive tape, it comes in various widths.
