    The irony is that’s only 10 miles from where I grew up. And my mom worked for Fairchild and after that AMD, just two miles away.

    No, there should be two posts that sit in grommets in the frame crossmember. Those slots are for the fan shield on the passenger side or auxiliary fan on the driver side. This info is for the 4.0L, not sure of the 2.5L.
