For what it’s worth, wasn’t the OEM hidden winch only 6k or 8k?

Today is the Happy Camper’s one year anniversary of being here in California, it’s been a great year! Today I removed the propane storage box shelves so I could add a fire extinguisher and have enough room for the dual propane valves/hoses and the sink brackets. I also made a liner for the bottom from a piece of the other half of the bed mat that’s in the camper. Before (Ben’s pic): After:

I don’t have any first hand experience with the 12K winch from HF but a lot of people like it for the price point.

I’ve used exhaust band clamps and haven’t had any leaking, did they just use the u-bolt type of clamps?

MJ e-brakes are at the rear wheels. A single cable goes from the pedal to a splitter bracket that the two rears attach to.

My ‘90 had short, the ‘89 has long.

In my ‘90 (original owner) that’s never been modified. Hole 4 in the center of the side panel to the left and up from the kick panel mounting hole is where the antenna cable enters the cab. and @Pete M the large connector courtesy light is also in the picture.

Yup, my 88 and 89 have the smaller plugs and my 90 the larger ones.

Hole #4, obviously you need a grommet and make a loop so it’s lower than the hole before it enters the cab.

Yes, that’s correct, the change happened in 1990 models.

What rpm are you pulling at 60mph? What gear ratio do you have? What size tires are you running?
