  1. Mill out some Comanches!
  2. Thanks! Interesting, must be an export thing since the 8th position for ‘90 is the engine code, L for a 4.0.
  3. Well the accessories guide in ‘87 had it listed for $171.69, that’s $475 in today’s money. So current price is not outrageous.
  4. Does it have a salvage title?
  5. So it sounds like maybe it’s not a 63000???
  6. June 2024 update, see first post. 15 new additions this month for a total of 2286.
  7. Is your 64.75” measurement including the plastic end pieces? My stock one is 68” including them and 45” for the mounts. From what I remember there are special mounting brackets required for the Fey/Westin bumpers to bolt to the rear bumper mounts.
  8. https://www.sfxperformance.com/mmy/1990/Jeep/Comanche/parts/Louvers/search willpak industries makes them
  9. Who’s got the deeper pockets?
  10. @Wouter can you please verify the 8th position in the VIN? I can't find a listing for "U" for 1990, is it an L? Thanks

It's not a factory Big Ton, 8th digit is a T which means Laredo, Std. Payload. A "U" is Laredo, Metric Ton.
  12. This one has the 2.8 not the 2.5 listed in the brochure. But in any case you should pick it up since you already have the literature for it.
  13. Wow! Nice trip. When you get a chance add the VIN to the registry.
  14. They are pretty rare, I’ve only seen one other owned by @Sugarfoot. I think those two brackets attach to the glass with tape and the louvers hang in them because you can flip them up to clean the window.
  15. Found this on our walk this morning. I think the dogs are saying “what the buck?”
  16. Sounds like rod knock to me. Get a long screwdriver put it to your ear and touch different places along the top and bottom of the engine to locate the sound. If it’s louder at the bottom it may be a bad bearing.
  17. I don’t recall what the connector looks like but the fuel pump wiring goes up that panel.
  18. Test the CPS and look at the connections. Try jumping the fuel pump ballast resistor, driver side fender at the front. Also check the connections behind the driver kick panel. Mine was loose and would intermittently not start but if I slammed the door it would.
  19. Welcome! When you get a chance please add the VIN to the registry. https://comancheclub.com/forum/34-1991/
  20. Nice! What material is it made of? Can you make any color?
