  1. That is a vacuum reservoir (for cruise control models), not a pump. This is all I can find, it's from the '86/'87 parts catalog. I'm sure someone else with cruise control can help you out, come on guys. Maybe if you post specifically for cruise control people will chime in.
  2. Can't see anything either. Here are diagrams from the 1990 FSM. You didn't state the year or engine size.

  4. That is how they came, they are heat welded in place like some of the other non-removable inserts in the console.
  5. Alabama's first drive, WTF???
  6. I don't watch it but I saw your post and luckily I'm 3 hours behind you so I recorded it. Here's a frame grab for those interested. Image Not Found

  10. I hope you mean you lost 10 milibars not HG, the "33" specification is in millibars which equals approximately 1 Hg (inches of mercury).
  11. Back to the original question, here is the diagnostic check from the 1990 FSM. The last page has the booster check.
  12. I have a set of SporTruck decals from autographixdesign (for about a year and a half now) that I still haven't installed, but they look like they're good quality.
  13. Here's a site which shows the paint chips and codes. For 1988 and earlier, you have to select American Motors not Jeep. Just a reference for anyone searching for paint code, exterior or interior color. http://www.autocolorlibrary.com/default.aspx
  14. Have you seen this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/91-Jeep- ... ccessories
  15. Here in California, we have to pay an extra $20 for vehicles older than 96 because of an extra fuel evaporative pressure test they do where they pressurize the gas tank with nitrogen and check for leaks.
  16. I'll take the first two: AAR Cudas.
  17. Hey Wade, Glad to hear you made it it out there and found the fuel rail you needed. I told my brother you were selling your MJ (he lives in Santa Clara) ha said "is it a good deal?" I told him a good deal is a state of mind :rotf: , but that doesn't matter anymore since you're not selling. What yard did you go to?
  18. I second the Melling high volume pump. Put one in my '88 last year, pressure runs just like 1987Comanche's Beretta.
  19. Brewed with coriander and citrus peel?? WTF My neighbor works for a beer distributor and tried to give me some of it, I took the Bear Republic ones instead.
  20. Have you checked http://jeep.avtograd.ru/VIN/vin_en.asp to decode your VIN? The 86/87 parts catalog has J in the 8th position as: 1986 "XLS" model (Metric Ton)
  21. That makes sence, especially with the low count for 1992, but what about the numbers for model year 85's produced before 1/1/'85 (= 1984 numbers)? Unless MJ's had a mid-85 introduction, and production didn't start till after 1/1/'85 :dunno: The MJ was "rolled out" on July 1, 1985 as an '86 model.
  22. Damn, that's a horrific sight, looks like you've been running nitromethane. :D
  23. We've gone through many BBQs, we now have a three burner gas grill with a rotisserie and side burner, a Weber kettle, Weber Performer, assorted Smokey Joes & small gas grills, but what I use /LOVE the most is my Big Green Egg!!! Fill it with lump charcoal and I can keep the temp at 200° +/- 5° to smoke a pork shoulder or brisket for 24 hours or get it up to >800° to sear them steaks!!! In fact we just used it today, it's just great. I hope you enjoy yours half as much as I enjoy mine and you'll be in heaven!!!
  24. The HO exhaust manifold will not have the bung for the EGR tube present in RENIX models (HOs do not have the EGR valve).
  25. Some differences are: RENIX has an EGR valve, HO does not RENIX air intake bolts to throttle body with 3 screws, HO is different RENIX valve cover: HO valve cover: I'm sure there are others along with what was mentioned above, I thought there was a post with differences a while ago.
